Stardust interview
De Niro and Pfeiffer are interviewed by The Movie Guy. They talk about Stardust and where Pfeiffer got her character’s unique laugh. Pfeiffer comments:
You know the scary thing is that laugh just kind of came out of me and I don’t really know where that came from.
Angela Bassett interview
Hall interviews Bassett on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about her trip to Washington DC for the March on Washington, her son’s meet with the president and First Lady.
My son, I’m talking to him before we get there, hopefully so they will be cool in the White House, just trying to put a little bit in, little bit in…and everyone applauds when our president steps up to the microphone and we’re on the side and my son just says, ‘Barack Obama!’
Interview about NSA
Arrington and Conway discuss the NSA at Disrupt 2013. Arrington talks about issues like seizing encrypted data and hacking phones:
We see what is happening with the NSA, the NSA is strong-arming these companies that are part of our ecosystem…why have you sat by for six months and not done a thing to stop this?
Conway:
I absolutely agree that we have to balance national security, there was this thing called 9/11, the government’s responsibility is to protect… You have to balance that with responsibility… Obviously the events of the last 60 days with the NSAs says that there has to be a balance between national security and transparency.
He says there is a healthy debate and he is focusing on other issues – civic engagement, gun control, and immigration reform:
I’m probably not going to be the tech leader who heads that…right now immigration reform to me is probably more important
The Talks interview
Bale gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses the most fun he’s had making a movie, smaller indie films, and what makes him do the big movies.
I like the emotion. That’s what I do. When I first read a script and decide that there’s something in it that I can try, I like to remember that feeling – and that’s not about hanging out on the set and socializing. I can do that in my own time. I very much enjoy trying to put myself in other people’s shoes.
Steve Austin Show interview
Lawler is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss his early career and Andy Kaufman.
If you remember, Steve. I started in this business 43 years ago. I had my first match in 1970. The business was different then. The people saw the wrestlers as huge stars but it was on a more regional business. I remember knowing you’d arrived if you made one thousand dollars in a week. That was when you knew you’d made it.
Maxim Interview
Gervais talks about his Netflix series Derek:
I have folded a few stories in, but they’re not so much strict stories as things in general. I’ve got 20 or 30 years of stories, some funny and some really sad. I just thought, it’s such rich, fertile ground because these people have lived ordinary yet extraordinary lives, every one. I find it fascinating that you’ve lived on this planet for 80 years and what you’ve seen, the changes you’ve seen. And it’s just the best backdrop for Derek because it’s sort of a show about kindness.
Maxim Interview
Barinholtz talks about his role as Morgan Tookers on the show The Mindy Project:
When you first meet him he’s so crazy. He’s got this giant tattoo and he’s a crazy person. But then he started appearing more and more, and he started being more human. Especially when he was doing dumb things and you started to see the ramifications of that, like when he mailed Danny’s letter to [his ex-wife] and Danny [Chris Messina] had to fire him. The good thing about him is that at his core, he’s an idiot. So even though he does have some humanity, he’s a moron.
Mark Harmon interview
Hall interviews Harmon on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about the evolving of CIS, his wife’s desire to be on the show and football season.
This shows had a lot of changes we’ve managed to get better with the changes both in front of the camera and behind the camera. We have another change this year with Cody leaving and it’s up to this group, highly professional group to use this as a springboard to get better and to try to improve and to stay number one.
Shape cover
Rowland appears on the cover of the October 2013 issue of Shape magazine. She tells the magazine how she got her body.
I never like to say diet. I like to say eating clean. Listening to your body and knowing what your body responds well to. For me, it’s green vegetables or fish. I don’t feel like I’m heavy or weighed down or lethargic when I eat. Food should give you energy.
The Art of Wrestling interview
Sunny is a guest on The Art of Wrestling to discuss WWE, jail and goals.
I’ve always been one of those people where, if I want to do something… I succeed at it. I was an “A” student, I was captain of the cheerleading squad. If I want something, I make it happen.
Magic Johnson interview
Hall interviews Johnson. They talk about the Lakers season, how Kobe Bryant’s health is and questioning the coaching style of Dan Tony. Johnson also talks about the importance of defense.
Defense wins championships. So all I’m saying is make sure that we get better on defense.
Parade interview
Williams is interviewed by Parade Magazine about his role in CBS’s The Crazy Ones, his first series since Mork and Mindy 30 years earlier.
It’s fun. I’m having such a blast doing it with Sarah. She’s a sweet woman. And the idea of a father-daughter relationship—since I have a daughter, I’ve done the research on that.
V-man cover
Gyllenhaal appears on the cover of the Fall/Winter issue of V-man. Inside the magazine he talks about the method he uses for acting.
Maybe some people can be fooled but I’m not interested in that. I think it’s possible to be intimate in your work. It means asking questions of yourself, it demands trust.
Benioff interview
Arrington and Salesforce CEO Benioff talk about the influence of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Salesforce’s financials, and how the cloud and social segments are supporting the enterprise software industry. Benioff:
Salesforce.com just had an incredible quarter with 30% growth, in not just the top line but in great numbers on cash flow. To see a company that is going to do more than $4 billion in revenue this year and is still growing at 30% is something in our industry that hasn’t been seen in a long time

Meet The Fockers interview
De Niro and Stiller are interviewed by Screen Slam. They talk about Meet The Fockers. how they both approach comedy different and their most memorable scenes. De Niro comments:
We shot this fight scene for a couple of weeks. We did act the stuff out obviously but they had stunt doubles who did the other stuff.
This whole premise is classic where you have to meet the in-laws. The whole concept of it is pretty common.
Maxim Interview
Hall talks about his return as a late night television and how he’s coming back to an entirely different era:
There were no cell phones when I started. I’m coming back to a whole other era. I broke Billy Ray Cyrus and Achy Breaky Heart, and now Miley Cyrus is out there smoking weed! The guys younger than me, that’s their world. The guys older than me, like Jay Leno, might not see concrete evidence of online popularity translating to hard numbers, so they’re not so into it.
Montreality Interview
Paul discusses his road to success, future albums, the favorite songs that wrote, what he was in a previous life, cartoons, DMX, Snoop Lion, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, and Damian Marley.
Maxim Interview
Duplass gives his thoughts on the 5th season of The League:
We’re at Andre and Trixie’s wedding weekend. It’s a double episode to start things off, which is really fun. We haven’t done that before. Everybody’s together and we get to meet Ted for the first time. He’s been this faceless member of the league. In terms of where the characters are at, one of the best things about this show for me is they don’t f-cking change. They are puerile and infantile and immature, and really love making fun of each other and trying to verbally eviscerate each other with whatever ammo they can find. In that sense it’s definitely more of the same.
Maxim Interview
Rickles gives his thoughts on his brand of humor and what it takes to be a good insult comic:
There’s no trick; it’s an attitude. Even when I was in high school and the Navy, I was the guy who could rip somebody and they’d laugh at it. It’s nothing you can rehearse—it was just in my personality. By the way, I was nice to the people in the Philippines for the two and a half years I was there, because I knew eventually I’d have to kiss up to them so my grandchildren could have toys.
