We’re not into the industry and have separate lives outside of it. That’s refreshing. I don’t know what I would do if Four was played by someone who cared what he looked like or spent more time in front of the mirror than I do.

Wood discusses starring in the remake of the movie Maniac:

It’s a primarily POV film about a man who has a compulsion to stalk and murder women. You experience what this man’s world is and get a feel for his life – he discovers this young girl who it seems he has a real yearning for romantic love with that probably can’t sustain within the context of the world he set up for himself.

L.A. Times interview

Lesnar talks about realism in the ring for WWE:

That’s what you get when you step in the ring with me. I’m always taking it to the next level. I don’t want to ever intentionally hurt someone, because it is pure entertainment. You want to portray things so they look real. We’re selling tickets and things to people, we’re selling entertainment. The guys that have got in the ring with me … they have to step up their game because of the intensity. I don’t have a governor switch … it’s wide open and you better hold on.

Cole talks about his early commentating in WWE:

My career was made at the beginning thanks to Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna and Rick Rude, if it wasn’t for D-Generation X who knows if I would’ve ever been discovered to become the personality that I am today, with those guys we had so much fun together and I become their foil.

Sad about Deen racist comments

Interview0 Comments

Oprah gives and interview to Entertainment Tonight and is questioned about the racist comments friend Paula Deen recently made. Oprah also tells a story of recent racism that she experienced.

In the very first days I tried to reach her and then I decided to stay out of it as I saw it blowing up. In time she will be fine. For me, it all just felt kind of sad. Nobody in their right mind is going to call me the N-word. You know, you see those fools on Twitter sometime say ridiculous things. But nobody in their right mind is going to do that to my face, because true racism is being able to have power over somebody else. So that doesn’t happen to me that way.

Stratus is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss her WWE career, retirement and her childhood.

I would classify myself as a bit of a nerd. I was kind of a science geek. I liked to explore. I was the kind of kid who asked for a microscope for my birthday. But I was also into sports.

Shape Magazine interview

Combs tells Shape Magazine about her workout schedule.

At this point in life I have realized that the next forty years need to be about maintaining my muscles, joints, and posture. I don’t push my body through workouts as I’ve done in last 39 years like to ‘ask’ my body to do things now instead of ‘telling’ or forcing my body to do something now.

Comcast interview

Orton talks to Comcast about his future in WWE and the diva’s division.

I wouldn’t say I’m WWE for life, I’d say my near future will consist of me primarily being in the ring,” Orton said. “Wrestling is my first love. The movie was fun, but the schedule was grueling because I had to fly off on my off days to film. Eight weeks went by and I had three days off. If I do the movie thing, I’ll be sure that I’m only doing the movie so I can concentrate on it. (Laughs) I think I’d be more sane that way.

The Temple News interview

Bryan talks to The Temple  News about his recent success in WWE and Nigel McGuiness.

When I go to Target and see my own action figure, it makes me feel stupid because I’m not doing anything different than I was before. It’s just that I’m on TV … I’ve wrestled in front of less people than this in a room smaller than this and when I walked out, instead of people chanting ‘yes,’ they just stared at me in apathy,

Wrestling101.com interview

Ray talks about his singles career in TNA:

In the tag team world I was used to being in extremely high profile matches all over the world. So to become a high profile singles star I’m already used to the pressure and I’m able to channel that pressure into my performances. The only difference is now it’s all on me; it’s all on my shoulders from a total performance point of view. In a tag team match if you need a break or a breather you can always look to your partner and tag out but as a singles wrestler you can’t do that.

WeWantInsanity interview

Interview0 Comments

Ventura talks to WeWantInsanity.com about politics, Linda McMahon and running for president.

When I ran for governor, I only raised $300,000. And that’s a statewide race, like the senate. I only raised $300,000. I made more money doing the job. The job of governor paid $120,000 a year. So I made $480,000 for the four years and I only spent $300,000 to get the job. If I would have had that money, I’d be the President. You give me that much money to spend on an election and I’ll be President.
