Die Another Day

Pike plays the undercover MI6 agent Miranda Frost in the 20th James Bond film, directed by Lee Tamahori. After Bond is captured in North Korea, Frost is revealed to be a double agent and battles a female NSA agent aboard a plane carrying a doomsday device. Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Toby Stephens, Rick Yune, John Cleese, and Judi Dench co-star.

Before I was cast as a Bond girl, I had never actually seen a James Bond movie. The Bond audition was strange—I’d just come back from China, doing the kind of hippie-backpacking thing that people do when they leave school. All the girls in this beautiful old town house waiting to see the casting director were sleek and dressed in what seemed to me like leather. I was wearing something very thick and woolly. I was convinced I was all wrong.

Punk debuts for Ring of Honor. He cuts an in-ring promo and claims he is shocked that the crowd recognizes him.

I got a phone call while I was out with my head injury. The first thing Gabe asked me was how my head was, which was rally cool. Then he asked me if I would be ready to work in November and I told him no problem. I got myself and Cabana in the group. We were working the 3PW show on I think September 21st and we walked across the street to the MurphyRecreation Center where ROH runs and they asked me to do an in-ring promo. I went out there and was surprised at the reaction as the fans knew who Cabana and I were.

It was just something that started, and couldn’t stop. I don’t know what happened. It’s just the idea that you never have time to sit down and have a meal while you’re trying to pull off this heist, so he’s grabbing food all the time.

Training Day

Film Appearance0 Comments

Washington plays detective Alonzo Harris in the crime drama Training Day, alongside costar Ethan Hawke. Hawke plays rookie Jack Hoyt on his first day on a Los Angeles police narcotics team being trained by Harris. Hoyt quickly finds out that Harris’ methods are nothing close to ethical.

A lot of credit goes to Antoine Fuqua, the director. He brought the gangster aspect into it. That line ‘King Kong ain’t got nothin’ on me…” I made that up. The character’s ego, he just did not think he could lose.

Beckinsale plays Sara Thomas in the romantic comedy Serendipity opposite actor John Cusack. The story revolves around Sara’s strong belief in love and destiny. Throughout the movie, Sara conducts many tests of fate to see if she and Jonathan are really “meant to be.”

They saved all the kissing scenes up at the end of Pearl Harbor and the Serendipity ones were right at the beginning, so I was literally going from one man to the next.
