Carney and Ward marry in a ceremony in the backyard of their Nashville home. Over 350 guests are in attendance, including Auerbach and athlete Shaun White. The ceremony is officiated by comedian Forte. The couple includes their Irish wolfhound Charlotte in the ceremony, and the bride walks down the aisle to Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells.

Son kills self, one other person
After an argument with his girlfriend, Hughes son, 24-year-old John Joseph Hughes kills himself by driving on the wrong side of the 408 highway in Orlando, with his lights off, killing 66-year-old Charles Penrose. The resulting fire is so intense Hughes has to be identified using dental records. The driver of another vehicle was unhurt. Police:
Well we know now based on contact we received from his girlfriend that this is a suicide. That he intentionally drove the wrong way on the 408 colliding with the other vehicle, killing the other man. We just know there was some type of argument and that he chose this method to kill himself and unfortunately take an innocent life with him.

Michael Clarke Duncan dies age 54
Duncan dies age 54 at Cedars-Sinai medical centre in Los Angeles. The cause of his death is complications arising out of heart attack. His fiancé’s spokesperson:

LaBeouf, Pho split
After nearly two years of dating, Labeouf and Pho break up. According to a source, the couple have been having difficulties ever since LaBeouf agreed to star in Nymphomaniac, where he would be expected to engage in real sex scenes. The source says that Pho did not want him having sex with someone else and did not understand why the scenes couldn’t be simulated.
Finn Davey McDermott born

Buys $7.7m Hidden Hills mansion
Drake buys a $7.7 million Hidden Hills mansion that he had previously been renting. The compound was originally listed for $27 million in January 2009. It dropped to $9.95 million in November 2011. The 12,500-square-foot house in the gated community has seven beds and nine baths. The interior has a wine cellar/tasting room, built-in library, game room, spa/massage room, master suite with his-and-hers bathrooms, and a 24-seat theater. The interior is fully designed with soaring ceilings and arched wood beams. The plot also contains commercial bathrooms, five-stall horse facilities with riding area, a mechanical bull, tennis court, a sand volleyball court, and viewing pavilions. It also features a large pool with grotto and wet bar.
Electric City
Hanks produces this futuristic, dystopian, animated series for Yahoo! and provides the voice for Cameron Carr, the lead character, who is in charge of policing the underground. Besides wanting to create Internet content that wasn’t comedic, Hanks takes the opportunity to play a character unlike himself.

Study: $2m ‘anti-gay’ donations
An analysis of Chick-fil-A’s charitable donations by Equality Matters and The Advocate, claims that the chain donated almost $2 million to what it calls “anti-gay” groups such as The Family Research Council and Exodus International between 2003 and 2009.
