Topless magazine shoot

Interview0 Comments

Lohan poses topless in Hunger magazine shoot.

I’ve seen pretty much all there is to see. I don’t need to see it all over again. The last time I went to LA it was my friend’s birthday and we went to this karaoke place. It was the same people, the same faces, nothing had changed. It felt very unevolved.

She also discusses her latest app, The Price Of Fame, in which players can take on the life of a celebrity – but she admits that being a celebrity has come at a price for her.

We didn’t use to have Twitter and stuff. Now the price that you pay is that your life is so much more viral. You can’t get away from it.

RHONY upcoming season comments

Interview0 Comments

Morgan speaks out about the new season of “The Real Housewives of New York.” Bethenny Frankel is returning.

We really have strong relationships going now with the other half of the cast that joined the old veterans…Bethenny is great. I think we needed a little jolt in there!

Morgan also shares that Ramona Singer will be fine single:

I think the men will find Ramona just fine. That’s the problem: we have to beat these guys off! They’re everywhere! Which guy is the good guy?

Originally Benedict Carlton

Interview0 Comments

Cumberbatch tells reporters the origins of his name:

I started off as Benedict Carlton, which is my middle name, my grandfather’s name. Cumberbatch sounds like a fart in a bath … It is even funnier in an English accent. But an agent who was wiser than me told me it was a good name. People have had fun with it and they continue to!

‘Joke as a fashion designer’

Interview0 Comments

Cutrone calls West a ‘joke as a designer’, referring to West’s Adidas shoe line.

I’m not into his fashion thing. I think he’s fine as a rapper. I think he’s a joke as a fashion designer. I mean, it’s not, he’s not legit. Have you seen the product? Didn’t he have his own line in London, which was a disaster that he spent $10 million to do, that no one wore? I just think that you should stay focused at what you’re good at. Just because you’re a good rapper doesn’t mean you’re going to be a good fashion designer.

BBC Radio 1 interview

Interview0 Comments

Clarkson reveals in an interview with BBC 1 Radio that she sometimes feels she has a difficult time getting other artists to collaborate with her.

I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no. I’m not kidding you. I have legitimately asked several people that I’m not going to call out, and that’s cool, but I don’t know. I ask good people, I don’t want to sing with crap people, so I mean, I ask people who are great vocalists, but I’m not going to point out anyone. I have asked several people… Sometimes I feel like I have the plague, or leprosy, they’re like, ‘If you get too close…’ I don’t know.

Refinery 29 interview

Interview0 Comments

Arterton gives an interview to Refinery 29. She talks about singing karaoke with Anna Kendrick, British actors, and what people don’t know about Ryan Reynolds.

We’ve got such great talent in the U.K., so it’s great that it’s being celebrated. British actors are quite adaptive, and can try on accents and things like that. [For this film] Fiona was originally meant to be French, but when [director] Marjane [Satrapi} met me, she said we had to make her British. Michael Perry, the writer, went back and wrote all this cliché British stuff for her to say. It was like a hyped-up Mary Poppins.

The Edit interview

Kendrick, says she’s not scared of growing old in Hollywood.

I know that things will be more complicated as an older actress, in ways that I can’t anticipate, but I would really enjoy getting to the point where the reason I’m getting roles or not isn’t based on if somebody thinks I’m hot enough.

Stewart models for Interview magazine. She tells Smith, who conducts the interview, that she has no career regrets.

Anybody who wants to talk s**t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there’s something there that I’m endlessly, and to this day, f**king proud of. My memory of it felt – still feels – really good.

Denies ageist claims

Makes Statement0 Comments

BBC Radio 1 denies claims from fans that Madonna’s music is being omitted from the station’s playlists due to her age.

Radio 1 does not ban anyone—please don’t believe the papers. The tracks played on Radio 1 are chosen on musical merit and their relevance to our young audience on a case-by-case basis, and whilst around 40% of the country’s 15 to 29-year-olds tune into Radio 1 each week, an artist’s age is never a factor. In fact, Paul McCartney currently has two tracks —FourFiveSeconds and Only One—on the Radio 1 playlist.

Self interview

Interview0 Comments

Gurira gives an interview to Self magazine. She talks about keeping her body strong and balanced.

I’ve always been a bit of a tough chick. That’s what made me work for the part of Michonne. Taking care of my body, knowing I’ll never get another, is one of my top priorities. I’m happiest when I feel strong and I do what I need to do to get there.

Apology0 Comments

We do believe this was a completely unintentional oversight on the part of our longtime franchise partners in the U.K. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience or offense this misstep may have caused our fans.

V Magazine cover

Gomez poses topless for the cover of V Magazine. Gomez discusses past relationships and learning from mistakes.

I think the next time will be much different…which will definitely not be any time soon. That’s a growing up kind of thing. I was 18 years old, and it was my first love. The older I get, I’m guarding certain things more. After being put through the scrutiny, I understand what it is. When you’re young and you’re being told so many different things…it almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way. It was really weird but it was incredible. I would never take it back in a million years. You live and you learn, you know?

Style.com interview

Interview0 Comments

West discusses his Adidas Originals Collection and how he and Kim Kardashian were shunned by people in the fashion industry.

I just think I have a vision of something that I want to do. But God has a special way to teach people through life. I guess I got a little more credit for my second collection than my first, for whatever that is worth. But soon as we started dating, fashion people were really opposed to the idea of reality stars. And all the relationships, the somewhat friends that I had somewhat built up, completely turned their backs on her and me. They already had their back to her, and now they turned it to me. The so-called traction that I was getting in the high-fashion world was completely thrown out the window and I was finally allowed to go to school, where every day I was in my mom [Kris Jenner]’s house, in my little brother’s old room, Rob’s old room, re-tailoring a Céline skirt, re-tailoring a Saint Laurent jacket, re-tailoring a Zara top, re-tailoring Wolford … And day by day by day, [Kim and I] learned, we got better. We looked at the photographs together and she improved my style, we improved each other.

Harper’s Bazaar interview

Interview0 Comments

Harper’s Bazaar Magazine interviews Rihanna about her favorite red carpet style and staying ambitious.

My favorite red-carpet looks are usually the ones I get to help design: the Adam Selman Swarovski crystal dress at the CFDAs, the Stella McCartney all-white dress at the Met Gala, and the Adam Selman white jersey dress from the VMAs. But the red Azzedine Alaïa at the Grammys is also one of my favorites.

I am very ambitious! It’s ridiculous how much I want to put on my plate, which is already full. I am sensitive to what my team is going through. Actually I’m lying. They get no sympathy we love what we do.

Bloomberg interview

Interview0 Comments

In an interview with Bloomberg, Ginsberg talks about equal pay for women, birth control and abortion access.

If the woman has the means to go to a neighboring state, if she can buy a plane ticket or a bus ticket and afford the cost of the procedure, she’s safe. And she and her daughters will always have the choice. The people who don’t have the choice are poor women.

On her male colleagues:

I was a law school teacher. And that’s how I regard my role here with my colleagues, who haven’t had the experience of growing up female and don’t fully appreciate the arbitrary barriers that have been put in women’s way.

And how she believes a female president can counter “unconscious bias” toward women.

But I have to add a caveat. I know we have seen women heads of state in Israel, in India. And that doesn’t necessarily mean that the rest of society will progress along the same lines…Yes, there are blind spots. But in time they will go.

On Air interview

Seacrest interviews Ora during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about her role as Mia Grey in the film 50 Shades Of Grey.

It was the best experience ever and it’s such a great kind of opener for me to kind of get into the Hollywood movies. It’s just a really, really fun experience, and the soundtrack is awesome.
