Teen Vogue cover
Minaj is featured on the cover of Teen Vogue’s June/July issue. Inside the issue is a Q&A in which she is asked why she no longer listens to critics.
I used to read the bad things people said about me, then I asked myself, ‘Why am I reading that when I have millions of people saying great things?’ You cannot give negativity power. I tell teens, if you’re having a problem, there’s nothing wrong with deleting your social media. If people keep taunting you and you keep reading it, it’s poison.
Maxim Interview
Morrison talks about creating the character Damien Wayne in his Batman comic book series:
I always liked that idea and it just seemed, you know, at the start of the storyline, you want to put an outrageous thing to open with. And I love the title, Batman And Son, because it was kind of like [1960s British sitcom] Steptoe And Son, like a family business. It could’ve been “Son Of Batman” but that’s not quite as cool as Batman And Son, which is the sort of thing you’d imagine written on the side of a window cleaner’s van. And it seemed like a really good thing to slap a paternity suit on Batman suddenly and have him confront this specter of his past.

The Talks interview
Langella gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses whether he likes being the center of attention, thinking about women, and regretting things everyday.
Oh sure. I made so many mistakes. And I am not against self-pity. I don’t think you should disallow yourself those feelings. If you want to feel sorry for yourself, roll up in a ball, lie over there, and feel sorry. Then get up and go on, but do allow yourself those feeling. Yesterday I was walking around in London and I thought, “Oh, I really regret that I didn’t take more time when I was here for a year doing Frost/Nixon.” Then I thought, “I can still do it.” And I forgave myself.

Highfield talks to Future Medialab about the future of news, responding to the question: In five years’ time, how do you expect news to have changed?
In some way, news will be the same, people will still want to know what’s going on around them, particularly local and regional news news. The want to know things that matter in their community. What will change profoundly is the medium through they get their news. Increasingly on mobile people want utility information: traffic, travel, weather, breaking headlines, sports results. And in the newspaper they want more in-depth, investigative journalism. Things they can pore over for longer.

Burnett discusses her late daughter, Carrie, and the book she wrote about their relationship, Carrie and Me: A Mother-Daughter Love Story, in this interview for PBS.

Hollywood Reporter ‘Measurement Crisis’ Q&A
In an interview with The Holywood Reporter, Yaccarino addresses the ‘Today; show slump, NBC’s programming challenges and the impact of the platform agnostic consumer.
There really is no media company like ours. I suspect that if you were able to design a media company of the future it would look a lot like this company.
On measuring consumer behavious:
We have a measurement crisis on our hands. Measurement is lagging considerably behind consumer behavior and we have got to get to a point where all viewing or interaction with content is measured on any screen. And we need to accelerate the evolution to that. It’s not just a digital issue. Obviously there’s vulnerabilities in that space as well. It’s very, very frustrating.

Lohan and the British reporter meet for a 90-minute interview at a Manhattan townhouse. Lohan answers Morgan’s questions about her childhood and parents, her drug and alcohol use, and her intimate relationships with both men and women. On her mandated return to rehab in three weeks time:
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people taking time to just be by themselves. I think people want to see me do that. They will keep saying the same things about me if I don’t. I don’t think it will be a bad thing for me to be away with myself for three months. I look at it as a good thing. I can come back afterwards and be fully focused on work. But I think there are other things I could do instead of going to a rehab centre that would benefit me more. The best thing they could do for me would be to make me go abroad to different countries and work with children.
