TNA debut
Foley makes his first TNA televised appearance. TNA founder, Jeff Jarrett introduces Foley to the fans before he appears on the big screen on the entrance way to close the show.
One of the things that impressed me about TNA is that they have a big picture. I made it very clear that the show did not need to be about me. I saw the big picture and I realized that I can make contributions when they are needed. So while I don’t see Destination X as something that I’ll play a large role in, it will be an important role in the bigger picture.
The Family That Preys
Sanaa plays Andrea, an accountant who is married but is having an affair with her boss in the movie The Family That Preys. Andrea’s husband starts becoming suspicious of the money coming into the household, so he starts to question her about it. She is already tired of her husband because he isn’t making the type of money she wants him to make. After her husband finds out she has over 300 thousand dollars in the bank, she reveals to him her affair. After he leaves, she goes running to the man she is having an affair with but he turn his back on her. Co-stars Taraji P. Henson, Rockmond Dunbar and Robin Givens.
We all know people like Andrea, and we’ve all been on the other side, so for me it’s about representing humanity. As an actress, one of the first lessons you learn is that you do not judge your characters. In fact, I think at times, in terms of my mind in playing her, she felt like she was the victim. That’s my process.

Duff stars in political satire film War, Inc. Duff plays Yonica Babyyeah, an over sexualized pop star caught in the middle of a plot to kill a oil mogul in the middle east. Duff co-stars with John Cusack, Joan Cusack and Dan Aykroyd.
When I did War, Inc. with John, he called me up on the phone and said ‘I want you for this movie. I have never met you before, but, I think you would be perfect. I think you would kill this role, I heard you do really good accents.’

I think it’s always challenging. Particularly when you’re mainly an actor and you’ve been given any kind of musical work to do, you feel humbled by it and properly terrified. Then it’s like, “Oh my gosh this is a great challenge, how wonderful.” And then when you actually do it you think, “Why haven’t I been doing this my whole life? It’s so wonderful.

Frankly, I think the ABBA factor was the thing that got people excited, as well as the presence of people like Meryl and Pierce. But I think if you live on Skopelos and you haven’t seen Mamma Mia you’ll probably still know all the songs. So, I think people were extremely happy about the film being there.

I realised very soon that we were in this type of boot camp with platforms for what felt like weeks and weeks and weeks doing just one song, Voulez-Vous. There are some absolutely bizarre steps to that.

I’m pretty tried-and-tested in the world of ‘suit acting, so I’m thrilled to be able to tackle something like this. I’m excited to see what will happen next. Really, at this stage in my career, I’m happy to still be at the table.

It was pretty simple for me to just be excited, and that’s the character I play. She’s just enthusiastic about life, and I was so enthusiastic about filming that I didn’t really have to go anyplace to get the right attitude. It was a very rare experience—Greece and Meryl and Pierce and dancing and singing, sharing something that is so private for me.

I just want to do things that are valuable to introduce into the culture. This film is a valuable thing. I knew it when I saw it.
Hancock
Columbia Pictures presents Hancock, starring Will Smith as a drunken, amnesiac superhero. It centers around him trying to change his bad image. In the process, he meets another person with superhero powers, who is paired with him, and they are the last of their kind.
There’s a natural narcotic my brain must pump, because negativity doesn’t last. It’s strange to play a guy like Hancock, who can’t find something to feel good about. That’s the opposite of who I am

Maybe this is Mrs. Smith after she killed Mr. Smith, went into depression, and got very, very, very moody. Fox is not happy, and she’s not easy to be around. She was interesting to me because she isn’t the love interest and she isn’t having fun with it like the Tomb Raider. She’s darker.
