Jolie releases a public announcement to let her fans know why she will be missing all the upcoming events for her film Unbroken. 

I just wanted to be clear and honest about why I will be missing the Unbroken events in the next few days, which is, I found last night that I have chicken pox. I will be home itching and missing everyone, and I can’t believe it because this film means so much to me I can’t believe it! But such is life. There it is. I send everyone my love and hope everything goes well.

The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy, have welcomed a baby girl. Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 am on December 3rd weighing 5 lbs. 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, 1. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate.

Bobby Keys dies at age 70

Keys, a saxophone player that toured with The Rolling Stones for more than 45 years, dies at the age of 70 at his home in Franklin, Tennessee. Keys is said to have been battling cirrhosis. The Rolling Stones statement:

The Rolling Stones are devastated by the loss of their very dear friend and legendary saxophone player, Bobby Keys. Bobby made a unique musical contribution to the band since the 1960s. He will be greatly missed.

Phillip Hughes dies age 25

Hughes dies in hospital without regaining consciousness. Hughes had remained in an induced coma at St Vincent’s hospital after having emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. According to a statement from the Australian team doctor, Peter Brukner he was not in pain and was surrounded by his family and close friends.

As a cricket community we mourn his loss and extend our deepest sympathies to Phillip’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time. Cricket Australia kindly asks that the privacy of the Hughes family, players and staff be respected.

Ryan Knight dies age 29

Everyone who has helped carry the mattress. Everyone who has carried mattresses in support around the world. Everyone who has stood up for themselves and spoken out.
