Samberg, Newsom marry
Samberg marries Newsom at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, California. The guest list includes stars such as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, as well as close family and friends. The wedding was supposed to be a secret, but Samberg’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Terry Crews spilled the beans on a red carpet on Sept. 17. The bride reportedly walks down the aisle in a Zac Posen wedding dress.
Despite lots of laughter, there were tears too. Andy’s speech was the perfect mix of comedy and sentiment. Both he and Joanna were crying throughout the speech.

O’Brien confirms he is dating someone.
I always like to go see my parents when I can. They’re in LA. Teen Wolf shoots there, so whenever I get a day off I like to go have dinner with them or watch Walking Dead or hang out with my girlfriend.

Retires
Miyazaki announces his retirement at a news conference in Tokyo following the release of The Wind Rises. He cites his age as one of the main reasons for ending his career in animation.
You just can’t do anything about those problems resulting from aging. There’s an end to everything, It’s best not to wait to retire when one is already in a decline.
Camden Quinn Schaech born
Solomon gives birth to Camden Quinn, a baby boy, in LA. He weighs in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and measures 19 inches. Schaech:

Leaves WWE
Ross is fired from WWE over Ric Flair debacle at WWE 2K14 video game press conference. WWE puts blame of Ross for not handling Flair’s demeanor better.
The decision, which was made by McMahon, was first told to us by a source in the company that it was possible, if not likely on the day of SummerSlam, stemming from the now-infamous 2K Sports symposium where Ric Flair spoke at length about a variety of subjects. … Ross took heat from management for not cutting Flair off and keeping the symposium to what it was scripted to be.
Spousal support
Embry seeks approximately $94,000 a month in spousal support. Embry files a claim that her ex-wife’s “income, investments and assets increased dramatically with her new found acting success,” and that the multi-million dollar home she was previously awarded is not enough. Embry wants Lynch to support her new lifestyle, adding that during their marriage Lynch paid for everything.
Madison, Rotella marry
The former playmate marries Pasquale in New Orleans at Disneyland in a fairy tale themed ceremony. They rode in a glass carriage Main Street. 150 guests attended along with special guests: Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Donald and Daisy Duck. The bride wore a strapless ballgown with a blue sash that tied into a big bow in the back.

Quits Highway Patrol training after one day
Tensing starts the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s 26-week training academy in Columbus but quits after one day, saying he “couldn’t adapt to the training environment.” Jobs with the highway patrol are considered highly competitive, and an applicant is required to pass a rigorous months-long background check. After resigning from the highway patrol, Tensing returns to his job with the Greenhills police.

Bosworth, Polish marry
The couple wed in Montana on a ranch at Rock Creek. The bride wears an Oscar de la Renta dress and was taken by a horse drawn carriage to the mountain top where they got married. Guests were able to horse back ride, hike, and fly fish.

Axl Jack Duhamel is born

Parkinson’s diagnosis
After struggling with symptoms of the disease for nearly eight years Ronstadt is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. She says the disease has stopped her singing:
I can’t sing a note. I knew it was mechanical. I knew it had to do with the muscles, but I thought it might have also had something to do with the tick disease that I had. And it didn’t occur to me to go to a neurologist…In fact, I couldn’t sing for the last five or six years I appeared on stage, but I kept trying. I kept thinking, ‘What if I tried singing upside down? Or standing on my head? Or while juggling? [Laughs] Maybe I’d be able to sing better then.’ So I didn’t know why I couldn’t sing — all I knew was that it was muscular, or mechanical. Then, when I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, I was finally given the reason.
Divorce settlement: $5m and ‘Bob Dylan’s Hair’
TMZ obtains court documents detailing the finalized divorce settlement between Auerbach and Gonis. Gonis will receive over $5 million, a 2012 Toyota Highlander, and an asset described as “Bob Dylan’s Hair.”
It’s unclear how the hair was obtained … when it was obtained … if the hair contains any product … etc. — but the point is, Dan agreed to part ways with it in the divorce.
Lee Thompson Young dies at 29
Young is found dead in his apartment by police, after missing a call on the production set and his manager, Jonathan Baruch, requested a welfare check.
It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.
