Elle Magazine interview
Franco gives interview to Elle about his book series Palo Alto.
I’d been working on them for a while. I was aware that there’s a lot of material out there that deals with this age group. A lot of it is depicted in a way that the writer makes appealing enough but doesn’t own in a certain way doesn’t own certain kinds of acting-out behaviors. I was given a lot just by being born where I was, but adolescence is a hard period in anyone’s life. It took time to figure out how to group the Palo Alto stories in a way that gives an overall impression that’s focused and intense.

Mohr gives interview to Elle about female celebrities and his most awkward interaction with them.
Being on the set of a movie where the leading woman was unhappy with my presence and made it clear from day one. I hadn’t done many movies, and even though they screen-tested some pretty famous guys, I somehow snaked into the leading role. The actress said, No way! You’ve got to be kidding me! Loudly. Between takes. To other actors on set. I would literally go to my mom’s house and cry.
Responds to allegations
Michaels scolds the Los Angeles Times for publishing the article calling her a fraud, and plans on taking legal action if they do not retract the statements. The trainer says that she has two active certifications, one that never expires, and has developed her own continuing education program with sports medicine doctors.
They didn’t do any of their homework. They flat-out [lied]. It’s defamation, it’s libel, it’s full-on.
The newspaper publishes a correction stating the trainer’s credentials are up to date.
Shape Magazine interview
Stanger talks to Shape Magazine about meditation.
Yes, I meditate every day for about 15 to 20 minutes, and sometimes at night if I can’t sleep. I think meditation calms me down. I don’t sweat the small stuff. Meditation gives you confidence too, because if someone says something about you, you realize, ‘nah, that’s not true. That’s what you think of me and that’s okay.’ And then you evolve; you weed out the bad people in your life. You get rid of the bad jobs. You have confidence to go after that dream job or move to a new city or start a new life or just go after the things you normally wouldn’t do, because you were afraid. It takes away that fear.
Emmy TV Legends interview
Helmond talks with Emmy TV Legends about, what made Who’s the Boss? successful.
I think Who’s the Boss? was very successful because of the disparate characters that made the triangle in it
Tony Danza Interview
Danza talks with The Associated Press about spending time teaching at a public high school.
I worry about the state of public education in this country. It’s a frightening thing.
MipTV interview
MacFarlane is interviewed by MipTv. They talk about which charities he has donated to, the mindset of homeless people and dealing with egos.
The homeless just need the simplicity of walking through a door with people on the other side saying ‘This is what you need and we’re gonna help you out.’
The Dan Patrick Show interview
Krzyzewski talks about the United States winning the World Championship:
This was really one of the big wins ever for USA Basketball for a number of reasons. One, just to win a World Championship which we haven’t done very often, haven’t done in 16 years. Two it gets us qualified for the Olympics. The World Champion has one of the spots guaranteed in the 2012 Olympics. It makes sure we don’t have to qualify next summer so we don’t have to play next summer. It also continues us in good stead, gold standard stead by winning the Olympics and now the World Championships. This year the under 17, under 18, and under 19 teams also won gold. It’s a fantastic year for USA Basketball.
Hollywood Reporter interview
Macfarlane is interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. He talks about actors that he would like to work on The Family Guy and how working on ‘Ted’ gave him a break from animation.
You can tell different stories every week and if one of them goes wrong, well there’s always next week.
Phylicia Rashad interview
Rashad talks about having diversity.
Understanding something about yourself that’s beyond your conception of who you are.
Fantasia interview
Williams interviews Fantasia and questions her about affair with married man Antwaun Cook, failed suicide attempt, and career.
There isn’t a whole lot I can say about Antwaun legally, otherwise you and I could have sat down for days and talked about this situation. But you know the bad part about it is when press gets things. They take it and blow it up into their own story. And they have done that to me all the time. They did that with the foreclosure and calling me dumb. They just turn their own story on it.
KTAR in Phoenix interview
Erickson talks about his team’s defense for the upcoming season:
Well obviously we’ve got good depth. We’ve had some injuries at defensive tackle the last week or so Corey Adams and Toa are both going to be out for a couple weeks. They’ll be back. Of course, Lawrence Guy and Saia were extremely good there, and Bo Moos has played very well for us. We’ve got six hands that we feel we can play, so our linebacker corps has been well known…we’ve got some depth there. Probably the biggest surprise on defense for me has been our safetys and particularly our corners. We feel like with Devron Carr and Boldin we have two corners who can come up and play man coverage which allows us to do more things.
Elle Magazine interview
Williams gives interview to Elle about announcing he was going to marry his wife, the first time they met.
It was a one-time thing. You don’t toss those words around! I got off the air at one p.m. I’d met my wife within that last hour. Later that afternoon, I sat in Bernie Smilovitz’s office and said, I think I’m off the market. That’s the exact expression I used.
Elle Magazine interview
Duhamel gives interview to Elle magazine about his relationship with his wife Fergie.
I knew early on that (Fergie) was right for me. She’s got an incredible strength and optimism. I knew that I was going to be a better man with her.
Harper’s Bazaar interview
Moore gives an interview to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine about growing older in the spotlight.
I feel better in my skin, 100 percent. That’s the trade off. You have greater effects of gravity, but the better sense of yourself you have is something I wouldn’t trade. Women who lie about their age, why? I’ll try a new skin cream but I’m not an extremist. I mean, I’m not risky with haircuts. Someone did just bring me the latest fad from Russia, though horse shampoo and conditioner.
Speaks about anti-apartheid demonstrations
Rice speaks about being the target of anti-apartheid demonstrations:
At the time we (SA) were the skunks of the world. Clearly there was the odd occasion when there were anti-apartheid demonstrators around and sport was certainly a focus of their attention. There were a few incidents when people made a stand against me being on the field but you just had to put up with that and carry on playing the game. As a player there was nothing you could do, you were lumbered with SA’s ridiculous apartheid laws.
The Dan Patrick Show interview
Krzyzewski discusses the difference between coaching players and pro players:
It’s different because I think actually some of the kids you deal with now, most of them you’re trying to develop their egos because they’re young men. They’re trying to find themselves. A lot of them are trying to find themselves as players, as people, and that’s what you’re doing. That’s what happens a lot in college so that’s one of the really interesting things about coaching in college. In the pros, a lot of the egos are pretty much established although with the USA team now, I have a lot of young guys who I think are still developing that and still developing who they’re going to be. Kobe knows who he is going to be and is. Dwyane Wade and guys like that. Jason Kidd, when you’re dealing with guys like that they are established.
WWE.com interview
Cannon talks to WWE.com about NXT and his competitors.
I’ve been asked that by everyone on Twitter, and all kinds of fans. I don’t want to say that there is one individual that is my biggest competition, because I don’t want to underestimate anyone. Competition is competition. I’ll treat them all equally; I’ll deal with them equally. I don’t want to take anyone lightly. Everyone is just as likely a candidate to win as the next.
Kelly Monaco interview
Williams interviews Kelly Monaco, and talks about her being the first winner of Dancing With The Stars, her career and General hospital.
I have my award proudly displayed. I worked my butt off on that show. It’s not an Emmy. It’s better, its less. There are less of them.
