I came out here about two and a half years ago to train for this rugby movie I’ve been writing for about four and a half years… There’s a whole bunch of different athletes that have come out in the last three or four years, so I didn’t want to do a boxing movie, and I can’t play basketball.
WWE hiatus interview
Batista talks to TampaBay.com about his current absence from WWE and promoting Guardians of the Galaxy.
I put it aside for now, and that really had a lot to do with my obligations to Marvel. But it also had to do with the fact that WWE and I weren’t seeing eye-to-eye, creatively. The stuff they were doing with story lines just didn’t’t make sense to me. … I’d love to go back. I’m a professional wrestler at heart and I miss it. But I want to be there and be happy with what I’m doing.
SpikeTV negotiations comment
Carter appears on Ring Rust Radio to discus current events in TNA, during the dicsussion she comments on the SpikeTV negotiations for the IMPACT program.
Every two years I go through this. This is just the first public negotiation I’ve ever had. I think social media has really changed this kind of thing. I’m used to every two years negotiating with Spike and negotiating with other networks. This time is absolutely not any different. We’re still talking with them, but there are other people, thank God, that are interested in our product. I want to grow this brand; I want to grow it domestically. I want us to be able to start having the kind of success domestically that we’re having internationally. I’m not going to stop and none of us are going to stop until we get there. I’m real excited to see and I think we’ll know sooner than later what’s going to happen.

Upton gives an interview to The Talks. She discusses dealing with most of the world calling her a bombshell.
It’s where I’ve started and it’s what I’ve accomplished, so I’m happy about it. But the more my career grows, I think that people will see that I have a lot more to offer and a lot more to give, but I want to do it right and that’s why it’s taking me time. I’m patient about it. Now it’s out of my hands – it has kind of been rolling on its own – but at the beginning I was micromanaging every little step. For example, I felt that my agency before wasn’t helping me in the direction I wanted to go, so I approached IMG myself. I always had in my mind where I should be at a certain stage.
Shape Magazine interview
Thorisdottir gives an interview to Shape Magazine about preparing for the CrossFit Games after an injury.
It was a slow process. It was pretty much rehab for a while, then working on my upper body. Eventually I started biking and doing light work on my lower body for about six months. Starting in January, I got back into heavier work coming from the floor, but there was still a lot of rehab work to make sure everything felt good. My back feels really great now, I felt the best I have in two years after the Games. But I know I can get so much better.

I’ve had some recent new ideas that I’ve talked to Matt about but we haven’t debuted them yet, but are pretty possible. It’s like riding a bicycle. Matt and I teamed for a long time and we did an Omega show at the high school that Matt and I graduated from and wrestled the Briscoe Brothers and the whole show from beginning to end was so good and the Briscoes vs. the Hardys was a killer main event. I also did a few other Indy shots with Matt and we were just as good as we’ve ever been.

I think a lot of people don’t realize that she’s a real person. And here’s the thing, the show at this point is definitely inspired by her memoir we go rogue big time. But it’s certainly inspired by it and the first season, what specifically was happening with Piper’s character is lifted directly from Piper’s life experience it’s like a beautiful flavor to the piece.
Oprah Winfrey interview
Seacrest interviews Winfrey during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about The Life You Want Tour.
So the tour is really what I really wanted to do all those years on The Oprah Show, guys. My favorite shows were shows at the end where I knew people had big ah-ha moments for themselves. So, it’s The Life You Want Weekend is really just one great ah-ha after another with me taking some of my thought leaders like Iyanla Vanzant and Elizabeth Gilbert and Deepak Chopra along with me to help people step into their life, you know, to be more mindful, to take control — all that good stuff.

Comments on Lesnar UFC return
Heyman sits down with The MMA Hour to discuss Lesnar’s possible UFC return. Heyman declines rumors and claims Lesnar is currently happy with WWE.
I think he’s very, very happy right now with what we’re doing in WWE, It’s not a subject he has to think about. If the deal ends up over in WWE, if a change of circumstances happens, and if it’s a no-brainer to get him back into the cage, I’m sure it’s something he’d consider. Right now, it’s not a topic of conversation. Why would you mess up the WWE deal?

Brother, my goal is to perform in the ring again, it’s not if, it’s when, I’ve been training like crazy, my back doesn’t hurt at all, my back’s perfect, now I’ve finally got by back straightened out and I’m really trying to get myself into shape because if you step inside that WWE ring you better bring it, and last time I brought it they begged me to take it back.
