Shape Magazine interview

Interview0 Comments

Lopez talks to Shape Magazine about getting in shape with BodyLab.

I think at a certain point, women especially around my age, we’ve given up. We have kids and a career and so many responsibilities, and we give up on ourselves. We think, ’I can’t do it.‘ But you can. And that’s why we created the BodyLab seven Day Starter Kit. It’s a blueprint for how to reset your body’s metabolism. It’s a detox, a cleanse, and a probiotic with a seven day total burn. It kick starts everything. It gives you better energy, it starts having your system work in a better way. You’ll drop a couple of pounds, but its not about dropping ten pounds in one week. That’s not what we’re promoting here. Its about getting your body to work better, and you will feel better when you do the seven day cleanse.

White House petition response

Makes Statement0 Comments

The White House responds to a petition to fire two federal officials involved in the Swartz’s prosecution by refusing the request:

Aaron Swartz’s death was a tragic, unthinkable loss for his family and friends. Our sympathy continues to go out to those who were closest to him, and to the many others whose lives he touched. We also reaffirm our belief that a spirit of openness is what makes the Internet such a powerful engine for economic growth, technological innovation, and new ideas. That’s why members of the Administration continue to engage with advocates to ensure the Internet remains a free and open platform as technology continues to disrupt industries and connect our communities in ways we can’t yet imagine.

As to the specific personnel-related requests raised in your petitions, our response must be limited. Consistent with the terms we laid out when we began We the People, we will not address agency personnel matters in a petition response, because we do not believe this is the appropriate forum in which to do so.

The Talks interview

Interview0 Comments

Welsh gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses his upbringing in Scotland and whether life experience or writing experience is more important.

I think you’ve got to draw a balance between the two. To be a good writer, you have to be a good reader, you have to be interested in literature, you have to be interested in some of the great classic books, you have to constantly enjoy books and enjoy the work of it. You really do. But you’ve also got to be prepared to get out and do stuff and look around and engage with people. You’ve got to engage your senses. You live your life, and that way you can bring something new to the table, because otherwise you’re just a compiler or an editor of other people’s experiences.

Quite some time has passed since I began in the industry. My love for music hasn’t changed at all during this time. I have remained the same but what has changed is the environment and how people perceive me. The biggest change has been my popularity.

On Air interview

Interview0 Comments

Howard gives an interview to Ryan Seacrest during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his role as Lucious Lyon in the TV series Empire.

Altogether, (the show) is addressing some of the crazy issues that we get to look at in this world. The amount of drama that enters (in the show), and then having a gay son. I mean, I’m Archie Bunker. My character is not homophobic, my character is a bigot. He hates white people and he hates homosexuals. He loves his son, but he hates his lifestyle.

Pulliam visits The Wendy Williams Show after being fired from Celebrity Apprentice and discusses her reason on why she chose not to contact Bill Cosby to help her raise money for her charity.

For me to pick up the phone, having not talked to him for five years, except for when we run into each other for a Cosby event, I feel that’s not my place to do.

Keshia Knight Pulliam Fired!

Addresses allegations

Makes Statement1 Comments

Knight Pulliam addresses recent sexual assault allegations against Cosby in an interview on Today.

What I can say is this: I wasn’t there. No one was there except for the two people who know exactly what happened. All I can speak to is the man that I know and love. The fact that he’s been such an example, you can’t take away from the great that he has done. You know, the amount…the millions and millions of dollars that he has given back to colleges and education, and just what he did with The Cosby Show and how groundbreaking that was. Ultimately, they’re just that, allegations. You know, it’s very much been played out in the court of public opinion. But we’re still in America, where ultimately you’re innocent until proven guilty. I wasn’t there. That’s just not the man I know. So I can’t speak to it.

Attitude feature

Interview0 Comments

Evans is featured in Attitude magazine. He talks about being the next Jamie Dornan and being in a boy band.

Just after school I was going to sign with a professional rugby team, and it was all ready to go. A mate of mine was a great singer who was putting together a boy band who already had a record deal with an independent label. One of the guys dropped out and I took his place. I thought if I was ever going to give it a go it was then. And I had a great time; one of the best years of my life. I had three great mates who I am still friends with now. One’s a doctor now and two of them are still in the music industry. It was such a great experience. We even got to tour with Westlife! Having four guys in an arena full of girls; they’re gonna scream and scream away. It was quiet terrifying in a way. I went to an all boys school so when I was confronted by these screaming girls, throwing things at you, I was taken aback. It was quite daunting. I was unaware as to what to expect but over time I got used to it.

Apologizes via Instagram

Apology0 Comments

Cuoco apologizes for comments she makes about feminism in an interview with Redbook, via Instagram.

In my Redbook article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism. If any of you are in the ‘biz’ you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context. I’m completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant.

Magazine Cover0 Comments

Vandala-Zack-Wilde-coverWilde appears on the cover of a January 2015 issue of Vandala magazine. In the interview he talks about upocoming bands:

Nowadays as far as the younger guys go, you’ve got Avenged Sevenfold. They’re the biggest band right now. For the younger generation thats their Guns n Roses, their Zeppelin their Metallica. Black Veil Brides have a following as well and that’s all guitar driven rock and it’s not like they’re on MTV 24/7, they’re doing it all themselves. It’s not like they have somebody funding them and the whole nine yards. They’re working their balls off. If you really want to do it it’s just bands like that who keep grinding it out. You have to, man!
