WWE.com interview

Interview0 Comments

Ziggler talks to WWE.com about his recent push in WWE and the dedication he puts into his craft.

Nobody works harder than me in the ring, no one steals the show more often and no one gets better reactions for a guy who’s not even part of huge storylines. People can pick and choose what they want out of it, but I feel like I’m a modern day Renaissance man of anything you could want me to do … except be six inches taller.

Huffington Post interview

Interview0 Comments

Carter talks to the Huffington Post about TNA’s new television deal and goals for 2015.

My big focus for 2015 is to further distinguish our product from anybody else’s out there. What can we do better and what have we been doing great that we can take to another level. We’re going to be announcing in the coming weeks some realty exciting changes to our show and that’s a big part – trying to make our brand much more distinctive than not just WWE but other wrestling companies around the world.

Busted Open interview

Interview0 Comments

Ross is a guest on Busted Open Radio to discuss CM Punk’s comments toward Ryback.

Some guys will be very leery of trusting Phil because he brought up one of his own and shined unflattering light on Ryback, without any knowledge and based off how he looks. There will be a lot of guys alienated from that statement. Phil won’t care because he washed his hands of it. The guys who were Phil’s friends would probably just leave it alone. I think the whole thing could’ve been avoided if the problem was identified by both parties. The locker room is a very cruel place; and guys will lie to stir up a hornets nest especially when it comes to money; say a guy gets $50,000 for a PPV and they usually say they got $100,000 just to stir it up.

Attorney alleges extortion attempt

Accusation0 Comments

Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, alleges that Judy Huth and her attorney tried to extort money from Cosby before filing suit against the comedian this week. Singer files a notice of demurrer with Los Angeles Superior Court.

Plaintiff Judy Huth filed a meritless and unsupported 40-year-old claim against Bill Cosby alleging decades-old sexual abuse immediately after Mr. Cosby rejected plaintiff’s outrageous demand for money in order not to make her allegations public. Recognizing that they committed extortion and could face significant consequences for their conduct, plaintiff’s counsel Marc Strecker rushed to the courthouse to file this lawsuit on behalf of his client. Under California law, the only way that an alleged victim of childhood sexual abuse would be able to assert an otherwise time-barred claim is to allege that the psychological injury or illness had been repressed and was only discovered within the last three years. Without providing any specific allegations, or the mandated certification from a mental health professional to support her claim, plaintiff alleges that she discovered her psychological injuries and illness ‘within the three years prior to the filing of the complaint.’ Conspicuously absent from her complaint, however, is the fact, confirmed by plaintiff’s counsel, that plaintiff unsuccessfully tried to sell her story to the tabloids nearly a decade ago. Through her lawyer, plaintiff made extortionate threats to Mr. Cosby (through his counsel) about criminal penalties, coupled with ever increasing demands for a six-figure payday to keep quiet about her long since expired claims.

The Influencer Economy interview

Interview0 Comments

Carter is interviewed by Williams on The Influencer Economy. He talks about about hip-hop, entrepreneurship, life, failure, success and finding passion around your work.

In life in general, there are no guarantees. Failures are a part of life. As cliché as it may sound, the way I look at it is that there are no rewards without taking risks. We take a risk every time we step out the door, you know, every single day. Life is full of risks and failures, but at the same time life is full of triumphs and happiness.

I relate to entrepreneurs on a soulful level. I know what keeps them up at night. I know how those victories feel. .. And when you can’t make payroll, and you’ve got knots in your stomach, I know what that feels like too.

DC101 interview

Interview0 Comments

Swagger talks to DC101 about Vince McMahon’s comments toward the current WWE wrestler’s not being ambitious enough.

This is an environment where literally hundreds of thousands of people want to be on this roster, and there’s what, 75 of us on top? To get here you have to be very ambitious but to stay here you need even more. It takes a lot of drive and a lot of hard work. I can only speak for myself that I have gotten hungrier. As far as the rest of the locker room, you know, it’s tough but you gotta see the finish line and sometimes that’s hard to do.

‘It’s an unfortunate scenario.’

Makes Statement0 Comments

Cedric the Entertainer comments on the recent allegations against Cosby while on the red carpet at the New York premiere of Chris Rock’s upcoming comedy Top Five.

“[Cosby] is one of those legendary comedians. We all grew up on him, and we know and respect him, not just as a comedian, but for the things that he’s done outside of comedy, with the colleges and giving back [to the community], and spending his money where his mouth is. But if the allegations have any truth to them, you want the truth to come out. You want justification for all the people. That’s all you can really say. It’s an unfortunate scenario.

Claims Cosby drugged her

Accusation0 Comments

During a press conference in Los Angeles led by attorney Gloria Allred, Chelan claims that Cosby drugged, sexually assaulted her and then gave her 1,500, while she was working at the Las Vegas Hilton at age 17.

He gave me a blue pill, which he said was an antihistamine. He was rubbing my neck… he had me put on a Hilton robe, and said that someone from the Ford agency was coming to the suite, and that I should wet my hair. Mr. Cosby walked me to the bedroom after a second shot of amaretto. He said it would help my cold. I laid down. He laid next to me on the bed, and began pinching my left nipple, and humping on my leg while he was grunting… I couldn’t open my eyes… I felt something warm on my legs, and I blacked out. Hours later, I woke up to him clapping his hands and saying, ‘Daddy says wake up.’

The Swerve interview

Interview0 Comments

Angle is a guest on The Swerve to discuss Sting, Hulk Hogan and deciding to stay with TNA.

At this point in my career, I can’t really do a full-time schedule. I need to look at how they want to take care of me, what they want to do with me, what’s important to them should be important to me and everything I do has meaning. Most important is the invested interest. Secondly, making sure I keep my life straight and that I spend time with my family. Thirdly is basically financial situation. It’s not that I’m in dire need of money. Thank god I made a lot in this business. At the same time, the amount of money speaks volumes with what they want to do with you and how they want to utilize you. is the money important for a financial standpoint? No. Is it important on how important you are to the company? Yes. I want to make sure it’s a best suit for me.

‘His behaviour was like that of a predator’

Makes Statement0 Comments

During a press conference in Los Angeles, led by attorney Gloria Allred, Hayes says Cosby exhibited behavior ‘like that of a predator’ when she met Cosby at Clint Eastwood’s Celebrity Tennis Tournament in Pebble Beach, California in 1973. Hayes claims Cosby stalked her and her two friends, eventually grabbing Hayes’ breast.

Bill found us again on Saturday night even though we had changed restaurants several times to avoid him. At first, we thought it was all right because it was day time, and because it was Bill Cosby. We felt we were safe. But then when he found us in the last restaurant, he approached me from behind and reached over my shoulder and grabbed my right breast. I was stunned, and angry, because he had no right to do that. And I didn’t know why he would behave that way. His behavior was like that of a predator.

Lawsuit alleges underage rape

Accusation0 Comments

Huth files a suit alleging that Cosby sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, when she was 15. The lawsuit is the first that Cosby has faced claiming sexual abuse since 2005, and the first claiming underage abuse. Huth alleges she and a 16-year-old friend met Cosby that year at Lacy Park in San Marino after they wandered over to a movie set where he was shooting. The assault allegedly occurred later, after Huth said they played billiards at Cosby’s L.A. County tennis club, where she was required to drink a beer every time Cosby won a game. Cosby allegedly told them to state that they were 19 years of age if anyone asked, and then took them to the Playboy Mansion. The lawsuit alleges that once at the mansion, Huth used a bathroom and came out to find Cosby sitting on a bed, where he attempted to put his hand down her pants, and then took her hand and performed a sexual act on himself without her consent. Suit:

This traumatic incident, at such a tender age, has caused psychological damage and mental anguish … that has caused her significant problems through her life
