WWE.com interview
Rollins talks to WWE.com about how carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase around is a great prank itself as part of the site’s Greatest Pranks series.
The (Money in the Bank) briefcase might be the biggest prank that’s ever been pulled on me, having to carry it around the airport. I don’t mind bringing it to the shows; it’s the airports, because these regular human beings look at me in the airport like I’m some sort of alien walking through the airport with this banged-up, scratched-up briefcase that says “Money in the Bank,” like, “What the hell is that?” So yeah, the briefcase itself is the greatest prank of all.
WWE.com interview
Kingston talks to WWE.com about a prank he and Hornswoggle pulled on The Miz as part of the site’s Greatest Pranks series.
We drive away just as Miz is coming out, and we’re driving down the street, and I think ‘Swoggle’s going to turn and pick him up, (but) he drives all the way to the hotel. It was about a quarter of a mile away, because we could see Miz walking. We pull into the parking lot and we see Miz walking from the gas station, waiting to cross a highway and this big field full of ice, and finally getting to the car. We got to watch and laugh the entire time.
WWE.com interview
Ziggler talks to WWE.com about pranking The Big Show as part of the site’s Greatest Pranks series.
Long time ago, in The Spirit Squad, we had a rivalry going with Big Show & Kane. We used a Subway sandwich, a six-inch cold-cut combo, left it in the middle of the ring and used a microphone cord to make a giant loop, almost how you would catch something in a cartoon. Like, you have to catch it in a rope. So we made a giant loop, put the sandwich in the middle trying to catch him, and thought it would be funny if maybe we caught (Big Show), and we’d all go pull the rope and we’d fall down like a ‘Three Stooges” bit. Long story short: He grabbed the sandwich, fell for the trick and we caught him.
WWE.com interview
Swagger talks to WWE.com about a prank he and Zeb Colter pull on their friends as part of the site’s Greatest Pranks series.
Going around now, me and Zeb call it “Paparazzi.” I’ll set someone up and I’ll turn their back to Zeb, come up from behind and scare them. And the whole time there’s a videotape, but they don’t know it. And a couple seconds later we’ll send them a video and when they’re watching, we’ll come up and scare them again. We’ve gotten like six people with it already. Tom Phillips will jump at anything. Renee Young. We really target announcers, it seems like. Rosa Mendes will jump all the time. The pie in the sky would be if I can turn it around and get Zeb at his own game.
WWE.com interview
Booker talks to WWE.com about a prank once pulled by Brian Knobbs as part of the site’s Superstar’s greatest pranks series.
I remember we were on tour in Germany and Knobbs had been pranking everybody on the plane flying over. We were friends, I didn’t think he would get me. I also always dressed really nice, and that day I had a nice jacket on with a sweater vest and a shirt with some nice slacks. Anyway, I fell asleep, and when I woke up I had two pieces of cheese inside of my vest that he had stuffed in there, and they had made big round spots on my shirt. You can’t get that out. I realized all of my fingernails were painted red and I had whipped cream stacked up on top of my head like yay high. The road agent was sitting right behind me on the plane. I look behind at him and I go, “Man, you need to take care of this. This needs to stop” He looks at me, shows me all of his fingers, and all of his fingers were painted red also.
Foley mission ‘riskiest ever’
Gen. Dempsey tells the Senate that the mission to rescue Foley – which ultimately failed – was the riskiest ever attempted:
Having been at this some time, it was the most complex, highest risk mission we’ve ever undertaken.
He says this may provide some solace to Foley’s family, who have said that the government did not offer them enough help.
Letter to public
Salmond writes an open letter to the Scottish public, saying that now the campaigning is almost over, the focus is on the people of the country and how they will decide:
So in these last days of the greatest campaign Scotland has ever seen, I want to ask you to take a step back from the arguments of politicians and the blizzard of statistics. The opportunity for our Parliament to gain real job creating powers, the ability to protect our treasured National Health Service and the building of a renewed relationship of respect and equality with our friends and neighbours in the rest of these Islands.
But for all that, the talking is nearly done. The campaigns will have had their say. What’s left is just us – the people who live and work here. The only people with a vote. The people who matter.
‘Won’t look like shock-and-awe’
Dempsey says strikes on ISIS in Syria will be different from the ‘shock-and-awe’ tactics of the Iraq War:
This won’t look like a shock-and-awe campaign because that’s not how Isil is organized.
The U.S. will work to ensure a Syrian chain of command is in place to lead forces against ISIS in what he says will be a persistent campaign.
Hagel: ‘We are at war’
Defense Secretary Hagel says that the U.S. is fighting a war against ISIS:
This will not be an easy or a brief effort … We are at war with Isil, as we are with al-Qaeda.

Rivera discusses her six decade spanning career and current one woman show, Chita: A Legendary Celebration, in this interview for PBS.
I have a blessed life. I really do. I have a great family, a great daughter. I love life. I love living. I love people. I love all the blessings that God’s given me, you know. I appreciate it and I work at it and it’s all work, you know. And I love the spirit of dance. It’s an amazing thing when the body and the spirit meet, you know. It’s a good thing.
Tavis Smiley interview
Hines discusses his life and career, including latest project Tappin’ Thru Life, in this interview for PBS.
And in my show, my show really has evolved into a love letter to my mother. Because it was my mother that really nurtured Gregory and I, and she had the vision. She had the vision for her sons. I say that in my show. At the show, I sing a song – and my father went along for the ride now. He did, but she had the vision. I sing, “You’re Just Too Marvelous” to her picture.

Grantland.com interview
Carter talks to Grantland.com about her failed negotiations with AJ Styles.
I hate that we lost AJ. Are you listening? I hate it. I felt like we gave him a great offer. I really did. I felt like we gave him a great offer and I think he made a mistake.
Timothy Olyphant interview
Olyphant returns as a guest on Conan wearing a tennis shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. He talks about his upcoming movie, This is Where I Leave You and his technique to not feeling intimidated acting around big celebrities.
This is my trick. They don’t teach this in Kung Fu. I came up with this on my own. You just come up with the least intimidating — whatever they got on their resume. And you just hold that and then it seems like such a big deal when you’re working opposite them. Bateman is amazing and all of these things but if I just say oh, yeah, from Mr. Belvedere. Yeah. I really enjoyed that show.
Nasim Pedrad interview
Pedrad appears on Conan as a guest and talks about her famous Kim Kardashian impression on Saturday Night Live, her unaired Aziz Ansari impression skit and her strong childhood crush on O’Brien.
I had a debilitating crush on you in high school. I was unreasonable, though. I was very young, but I had this very intense romantic feelings for you. I had like a “vision board” in my bedroom. You know what that is? It’s like pictures of things you like and/or want, and mine was Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Claire Danes, Destiny’s Child and then you.
Jet Tila interview
Tila shows The Talk hosts how to prepare a traditional Japanese one-pot dish.
Teriyaki sauce is just as popular here as it is in Japan.
