Ross Report interview

Interview0 Comments

DiBiase is a guest to discuss WWE, wrestling in Atlanta and Bill Watts.

Getting booked by Bill Watts was a real gift. This guy, in my mind, was one of the most brilliant minds with psychology in the wrestling business ever.

Tavis Smiley interview

Interview0 Comments

Gregg discusses his career and newest project, independent movie Trust Me, in this interview for PBS.

I was writing a bigger piece after my first film about children who kind of were acting like grownups and grownups who were acting like children in Los Angeles. But it was about eight stories and it was gonna be an epic that probably would never have moved out of my computer. There was one of them in particular that felt different. It felt like a kind of unusual mash-up between kind of a show biz comedy of desperation and a film noir.

Talk is Jericho interview

Interview0 Comments

Styles appears on Talk is Jericho to discuss leaving TNA, Hulk Hogan and Ring of Honor.

I did expect to retire from TNA. That’s what I wanted to do. I was very loyal to them. I busted my tail for them for eleven of years. But what I was told is TNA was horribly mismanaged and they couldn’t afford to pay me what I was making. So it was one of those things where I had to make a decision.

MVP appears on Talk is Jericho to discuss his own knee injuries and his choice to go to TNA.

They (TNA) came and told me, “Anything else you wanna do, we’ll get behind you and give you a schedule to still do what you wanna do.” And that was the deal breaker for me.

Sam Smith interview

Interview0 Comments

Seacrest interviews Smith during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about the meaning behind the song Stay With Me.

I think unlike a lot of men in the industry and in music, I’m willing to show that emotional side. That song is about the morning after a one-night stand and how you don’t want that person to leave even if you don’t fancy them, which I think everyone can relate to.

Ring Rust Radio interview

Interview0 Comments

Austin talks to Ring Rust Radio about potentially wrestling again in the future.

I’d consider anything if the perfect situation or opportunity arose and it would be more than a million-dollar question. I don’t want to sit here and promote a match, sell a match or talk about making a comeback.

Tavis Smiley interview

Interview0 Comments

Janney discusses her two, very different, current roles: Bonny Plunkett on the CBS sitcom Mom and Margaret Scully on the Showtime drama Masters of Sex, in an interview with PBS.

It was so funny. My mother, when I told her I was doing this way back before it came out, she couldn’t even – she was just mortified by the title. Her friends were saying, “What’s your daughter up to in there?” “Oh, she’s doing this lovely show for CBS called Mom and then she’s doing this other show that’s called – well, it’s with Beau Bridges.”

Lucy Hale interview

Interview0 Comments

Seacrest interviews Hale during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions her about why her debut album Road Between is scary for her.

It’s definitely more scary because you’re more receptive of more criticism, but I’m really proud of my album. I think out of anything I’ve ever done in my life, this album is me, so I’m excited to finally show that side of me.

We had our ups and downs. We had a period where we were about to separate.  There was a point where I was home all the time; he was working. Sometimes you start growing apart a little because he’s seeing new adventurous stuff.  He’s out in the world.  He’s growing. But I’m stagnant.

Roseanne Barr interview

Interview0 Comments

Williams interviews Roseanne Barr and questions her on show Last Comic Standing, her secret to a long lasting relationship and why she ran for president.

I learned a lot about how our system works and doesn’t work. I came in sixth out of 54. I was only on three ballots too, only three states put me on. The reason I ran is to bring some light to the fact that its very hard to get on the ballot in this free country. If we can’t get the kind of people we want to represent us, you know, we got to change that.

Laverne Cox interview

Transgender very basically means that the gender you identify as is different than what you were assigned at birth very simple. Transgender people’s experiences are really different. It’s an individual experience, there’s no one blanket transgender experience. It’s really about listening to individuals in terms of who they are and accepting people on their own terms.

Usher: Bieber not a racist

Makes Statement0 Comments

Usher releases a public statement about Bieber via his Instagram account..

At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgement, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort. As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn’t always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist. What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes.

Shape Magazine interview

Interview0 Comments

Reiner talks to Shape Magazine about how she makes time for exercise with a busy family life and career.

I meditate in the morning and my daughter will do it with me, looking like the most perfect little Buddha. I’ll do ten minutes of yoga then two to ten minutes of meditation. She’ll sit there quietly half the time. Working out for me really depends on my shoot schedule, but I try to move my body every day. I really believe in exercise as an anti-depressant. It’s a great way to feel better. In my teens, exercise was about losing weight and being skinny. Now, it’s really about having love for my body and time for myself to enjoy. I only do workouts that I find deeply fun in a playful way or in a really challenging way.

[It was] totally surreal and awesome, and luckily they televised that so I was able to DVR the performance, because I don’t remember much of the evening. Emotions are so high that night, it’s hard to know what’s happening from one moment to the next. It changed my life and it changed the direction of my career, and I’m really lucky.

I cried at work. It’s not necessarily about things you’d think either. I had a line that reminded me of a line I said as a kid. And it was truly a ‘This is your life’ moment.
