The Talks interview

Interview0 Comments

Aronofsky gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses how he enjoys torturing his audience and why Brad Pitt stepped out.

It’s a very hard thing to talk about because we worked together for two and a half years so it was like a relationship. He even said that when we broke up he felt like he was breaking up with a girlfriend or something because for two and a half years we worked on it. But it’s never one thing that breaks up a relationship. Really, it was probably because I was in Australia for six months prepping the film and he was in L.A. and creatively we just grew apart.

The Art of Wrestling interview

Striker is a guest on The Art of Wrestling to discuss WWE and his taste in music.

At a young age, I’d look to other kids my age and they all liked Hulk Hogan, all cheered for the Mets, all listened to Bon Jovi. So I said, “Am I supposed to like that? I don’t like that!” So I started looking around and saw Strange Earth and was like, “Oh, I like that… no one is listening to that!”

Maxim Interview

Martin talks about how he got the role of Louis in the movie In A World…:

I’ve known Lake a little bit over the years. I probably met her six or seven years ago at a comedy party in L.A. or New York, but it tends to be a small world, when you meet this friend and they were in a movie with that friend or did a sketch thing or something, so she was in my orbit of friends. And I guess it was last summer that I got the script, and my agent said, Hey, Lake Bell’s making this movie and you might be right for this part here, and I read it and said, Yeah this would be great. And it was cool, it worked out, and it was like a 20-day shoot. And I’ve been in L.A. for a bit now so it wasn’t too far from where I was living.

CBS Chicago interview

Punk talks to CBS Chicago about Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon.

There are a lot of people back there who say me and Brock are very very similar. Unapproachable, bad attitude. A kind of cloud hanging over our heads. But to me, he’s a sweetheart. I have no bad stories about Brock, yet.

Chicagoist.com interview

Foley talks to Chicagoist.com about his ongoing comedy tour and his comedy focusing on wrestling.

I don’t often venture out from my comfort zone. Again, it’s because people aren’t coming out to hear me tell stories about non-wrestling issues. I do describe how my career in professional wrestling has given me a unique perspective on traveling abroad, politics and pornography, but I have a tether that pulls me back in.

Poulter discusses We’re The Millers and whether acting takes courage:

I suppose so, but it was always less scary to me than school. I’ll just say it: I’m not the sharpest tool in the box. Being forced to go back to school is still a fear of mine.

WWE.com interview

Paige talks to WWE.com about becoming the first ever NXT Women’s champion.

To be the first NXT Women’s Champion is such an honor. It’s so overwhelming that it hasn’t fully sunk in yet. Emma gave me a heck of a match and I have so much respect for her. We made history. I still can’t believe I can say that I’ve made history in WWE. I cried and cried when I won it and the support from everyone has been crazy. I’m getting goose bumps and teary-eyed just talking about it.

Busted Open interview

Interview0 Comments

The Bella Twins talk to Busted Open Radio about John Cena and Daniel Bryan and their lives on reality television.

Right well that’s the one thing that’s going to be amazing about Total Divas is they do capture these real moments that we have in our life that you usually keep so private and now the whole world’s gonna see it. And you know I actually like it cause some people can learn from those real moments and they can actually relate to us. Which is awesome and like that moment with John (Cena), here this one’s (Brie) ring shopping and gets me all excited and I just want to start talking about things. I mean I’m a woman, can you blame me? I found the man of my dreams so I wanna, you know just lock him down.

Chad Dukes interview

Interview0 Comments

Nash talks to Chad Dukes about Scott Hall’s recovery and Daniel Bryan.

One thing Dallas [Page] gives that a lot of people just don’t have is Dallas has always been the cup half full guy. He’s a real positive human being. I just think that’s what Scott needed more than anything, to be around somebody who’s a positive influence, and to get him pointed in the right direction. Dallas was going to try and get him on the YRG, but once he got down there his hip was so bad they had to get a hip replacement and that’s really held Scott up. He got to a position where he was living clean, there were people around him 24/7 that cared about him, and it just made it easier, that transition to determine on a daily basis not to use.

New York Daily News interview

Interview0 Comments

Warrior talks to New York Daily News about Ryback, CM Punk and Randy Savage.

You would think maybe I would go for a Ryback guy. He’s impressive. He’s a monster of a guy. I don’t go against him, but I’m indifferent. I know a little about CM Punk, in that he does his own thing. I’m inspired by people who do that in their own life. That they just do their own thing no matter what the consequences are.
