The Art of Wrestling interview

Interview0 Comments

The Miz is a guest on The Art of Wrestling to discuss hazing in WWE and creating his own T-shirt.

I saw Charles Manson with the wild eyes and I wanted to do that and make it into black and white. Maryse likes my eyes, that’s all that matters I guess. But I do want her demographic to buy it. I want hot chicks to buy this shirt. If hot chicks wear the shirt then guess what…. everyone is going to want to wear it.

XFinity interview

Interview0 Comments

Heyman talks to XFinity about Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Rob Van Dam.

I don’t mind getting into detail. I think TNA squandered the opportunity of exploiting the talents of Rob Van Dam. And I don’t think that’s a mistake the WWE is going to repeat.

Steve Austin Show interview

Interview0 Comments

Nash is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss WCW, road stories and travelling with The Kliq.

I think because I was the wheel guy 90% of the time, I kind of got the say-so. But we had certain rules. Rule number one was if someone has to pee, you pee at the next exit. There’s no, “Awww but you just went.” When you go 300 miles, you gotta go.

Maxim Interview

Musk talks about coming along at the right time to start his business ventures:

Yeah, I feel like I’m here at the right time. If not for the Internet, where it’s possible to start with no capital and end up with a valuable company, it would have taken me a long time to build up these other businesses. It’s important to remember that being a good global citizen and a good businessman are not mutually exclusive.

Teen Vogue interview

Poulter discusses playing his awkward character:

I was never the cool kid at school, but I guess no one is quite as dorky as Kenny. I have some similarities to him; I went through an awkward stage when I was younger, as a lot of people do when they’re not comfortable in their own skin. I can also relate to the way Kenny follows David, played by Jason, like a lost puppy. It’s slightly how I treated my older brother. I totally idolized him and followed him around, so I can relate to that for sure.

Beating Bob Backlund after nobody beat him for six years was the greatest moment of my career. Bob told me, I only want to lose to you Sheikie baby, because you are the real deal and you are the hottest thing in wrestling. I love him forever for that and he respected the legend.

Calacanis talks about building Weblogs Inc., how a blog network isn’t as easily scaleable now as it was before, and the problems he sees with YouTube. He says for artists, YouTube is possibly the best way to spread their work except for Pinterest which may be better for fashion designers, and Twitter may be better for comedians, but starting a standalone business on YouTube is problematic:

[..] there are certain things that make it really untenable to production companies and make it really impossible for it to be anything more than the third of the mix; anything more than a marketing tool with a little bit of revenue.

Shape Magazine interview

Interview0 Comments

Applegate speaks to Shape Magazine about managing a vegetarian diet with a family and a career.

It’s gotten harder having a little person around. I don’t know how others maintain their same lifestyle when they have someone they’re cooking for. Even though Sadie eats incredibly healthy, she eats a lot that I wouldn’t. She has a very fast metabolism and she needs a lot more calories than mama does! It’s been hard to maintain the perfect diet for myself. For breakfast, I juice a big green juice and I try to get in as much raw food and protein as I can, obviously plant proteins and legumes but sometimes it’s late at night and there’s a frozen pizza in there and sometimes it’s all you’ve got! You don’t have the energy to chop up a bunch of vegetables. I go to frozen pizza or soy chicken nuggets when I need a five-minute meal.

Black Tree TV interview

Rowell talks about her multimedia career in daytime soaps, prime time television, feature films and writing novels.  She also talks about her numerous awards and Hollywood leading men she’s worked with.

I love doing comedy. Let’s face it, getting a product on the air is a competition. The whole point of competition is raising the bar, and whether that’s TV, sports, film or music…I do have that element, maybe it’s because of 18 years in foster care, but I have a fearless personality, and a lot of experience.

Steve Austin Show interview

Hall is a guest on the Steve Austin Show to discuss WCW, life on the road and advice from his early career.

I remember, there’d be a few old timers who’d try to give me advice. I remember, Strongbow used to pull me aside and give me some words of wisdom. A lot of times I was too green and arrogant to listen to what he was saying.

Jetset Magazine interview

Interview0 Comments

Jetset Magazine publishes an interview with Branson. He discusses treating drugs as a health problem rather than a criminal problem:

I’m part of a global commission on drugs, which is basically 15 ex-presidents and myself who have looked at the war on drugs and seen that it’s been a failure. What we want to see happen is for governments to experiment with different approaches. The current approach has definitely not worked. We don’t want people harmed, we want people helped. We want laws changed.

kelly1Rowland appears on the covers of Essence magazine to discuss her career choices, growing as a performer and working through personal struggles.

For a long time I wasn’t happy, but that had nothing to do with Beyonce. That had to do with me trying to get my life in order and make better decisions for myself. I’m seeing all these wonderful things happen for her and I am happy for her. But I want a path. I want things to pop off for me, too. Not on her level but whatever my level is supposed to be.
