Corki is the most renowned of the Screaming Yipsnakes for remaining cool under fire and exhibiting bravery to the point of madness. Before the League, he served several tours of duty, often volunteering for missions that would take him behind enemy lines, either gathering intelligence or delivering messages through hot zones. He thrived on danger, and enjoyed nothing more than a good dogfight in the morning.

Their creation, the steam golem Blitzcrank, was developed to exercise judgement on-the-fly in order to assist with Zaun’s hazardous waste reclamation process, since so often the conditions did not allow for human supervision.

My latest novel, which I’ll admit kind of slipped under the radar….As many of you know, I was in a bad car crash and broke my jaw right around the time this book was to be promoted. On top of that I was expecting my second child and producing my first stage play, Secret Society, based on my debut novel. Needless to say I had so much on my plate that I was unable to give Chaser the attention it deserved….But in spite of that….Chaser has gotten praise like none of my preceding novels… People called it my best book yet…Fans said they could see that I’ve grown as a writer…Readers were thrilled to get a glimpse into yet another underworld….And it was featured in Elle Magazine!!!

L.A. Candy
Conrad releases first novel titled L.A. Candy. The book is the first installment in a trilogy that follows Jane Roberts who moves to Hollywood and gets cast in her own reality show. The book becomes a New York Times Best Seller.
I didn’t take anything specifically that happened to me. The only thing that I did was … it was a way to show not necessarily me but just the other side of being on a show like ours. For everyone that’s done it I think you see one side and you don’t see the other. It’s kind of an interesting story to tell.
Opens second store
Sweetgreen opens its second store at Dupont circle in Washington, D.C. Several hundred guests are in attendance.
When we opened our second store, not doing any business, bought a giant speaker, set up outside on the sidewalk, something natural happened, it was no longer just a place to eat. We did our first block party and it was incredible. The block party turned into a bigger block party which turned into our first festival which was maybe 500 people.

Murder at the Academy Awards

The Devlins start Kroaky’s, a private room karaoke club. Private karaoke rooms, or “karaoke box” are a popular concept in Asia and there are a handful of places in America’s larger cities. Kroaky’s is the only such club in a small city. The Sarasota store is to be a model for a franchise business that will take the private room karaoke concept across the U.S. After a few months a public lounge is added.
