Releases statement
The band releases a statement on Facebook.
While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France. Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with our brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris, as well as their friends, families, and loved ones..Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris, and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion. We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil. All EODM shows are on hold until further notice. Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France, and vive EODM.
Shows IED picture
ISIS publishes a photo of the bomb which brought down the Russian jetliner, disguised as a drinks can, in Dabiq magazine.
The divided Crusaders of the East and West thought themselves safe in their jets as they cowardly bombarded the Muslims of the Caliphate. And so revenge was exacted upon those who felt safe in the cockpits…This was to show the Russians and whoever allies with them that they will have no safety in the lands and airspace of the Muslims. That their daily killing of dozens in (Syria) through their air strikes will only bring them calamities.
Jarvis: Rossi ‘destroyed’, recovering motivation
Yamaha’s Jarvis says that Rossi was “destroyed” by his situation.
When you put in all this energy and strive for the title every day until the last lap, and then you see the target vanish, you find yourself destroyed. Understandably, Valentino was completely empty. The best thing for him would have been to have months to recover and find a new motivation. But on the second day of testing, he had a different expression; he had rediscovered his enthusiasm. It was what we hoped to see…In [the last] three weeks [of the season], all the MotoGP riders, teams, organisers, came under stress: small cracks have widened dramatically. It’s important that Dorna and the FIM can review and analyse what happened, and then make the necessary changes. If the season starts without finding solutions, without discussing it appropriately, then everything will be very difficult.
Calls The View cast ‘mean’
Leakes appears on The View, where Behar says she was injured by her jewelry. Behar then asks Leakes about reuniting with her husband:
I love companionship, love being married…[I] had to teach him a lesson — never to cross me.
Behar also questions her friendship with Donald Trump.
I didn’t say I was voting for him, honey, I said I liked him.
Afterwards she tweets:
Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong
She deletes the tweet shortly after.

Vanity Fair Italia cover
Jolie and Pitt appear on the cover of Vanity Fair Italia, where Pitt opens up about working with his wife
If I’m going to work, I want to work with my wife. [It’s] surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. She’s decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life.

Says Dickinson, Johnson are lying
Vela claims that Cosby never tried to rape her former colleagues Dickinson and Johnson, posting to Facebook:
Them’s fibs, cuz. I was there when both talked on the phone to [various men]. Pretty saucy too…I think they’ll never pass through St. Peter’s Gates with their lips! They need to own up to the truth.
Fast spin-offs, sequels planned
Diesel says the team behind the Fast series is in the preliminary stages of developing prequels and spinoffs. He does not say which characters would get their own standalone films, but in the past, Dwayne Johnson has hinted that he’d like to see his character, Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs, branch out into independent adventures.
We’ve written out story lines for various characters. “We’ve been playing with it for a long time. It’s a very rich property and we’re committed to treating it with a lot of class.
Diesel says the three Fast and Furious sequels will be different in tone from the adventures that preceded them.
We have a director [F. Gary Gray] who is going to bring the darkness out and bring out the character.
Diesel also praises the studio’s handling of Paul Walker’s death:
They took such a high road and allowed us to honor our brother in such a powerful way. Another studio couldn’t have helped themselves by exploiting that in the plot.
Offers $50 million reward
At a Kremlin meeting, President Putin offers a $50 million reward for information leading to those responsible for the downing of the jet.
We will find them anywhere on the planet and punish them.
Bortnikov, the head of Russia’s FSB security service, says traces of foreign-made explosive had been found on fragments of the downed plane and on passengers’ personal belongings, and that the bomb probably contained around 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of TNT:
You can definitely say that this is a terrorist act.
Suppo: Marquez crazy not to beat Jorge
Repsol Honda team principal, Livio Suppo, comments on how Marquez should deal with the situation.
Go on holiday and relax. I think there’s nothing really we can add, especially Marc. If people believe him we are happy, if they don’t I think ‘time is a gentleman’ [an Italian phrase that can mean ‘time is a healer’ or ‘the truth will come out’]. I’m just so sad for what happened on Sunday [at Valencia] because I know that Marc really wanted to win this race. And when I saw him in parc ferme, I’ve never seen him so disappointed. Because he is a clever guy – you must be stupid to do deliberately what happened on Sunday…If you think seriously, with no pressure, you understand that it is crazy for Marc not trying to beat Jorge. Even if Marc finished in front of Jorge with Dani in third, Jorge was still world champion with the same points [as Rossi]. That would probably be even better, because this championship was deserved by both of them [Rossi and Lorenzo] and it would then have been decided only by different race wins.
He also says he has a lot of respect for Rossi.
I met Valentino coming back from Indy I think, in the lounge at the airport, and I said honestly I have more respect now than I have 10 years ago. Because what he’s done this season – it doesn’t matter if he won the championship or not – has been unbelievable; 36 years old, coming from the 500 and still able to fight with the young guns that are riding in a totally different way. And this year to beat almost all of them and lose the championship by only five points has been really unbelievable. Of course we cannot be happy with the situation that has been created by the words of Valentino, starting from the Sepang press conference. I really hope Valentino will understand that Honda and Marc are not against him. We just try to do our championship and if he thinks differently I’m very sorry, but it’s not like that.
HIV positive
Sheen tells Lauer on Today, that he is HIV positive, but he does not have AIDS:
I’m here to admit that I am in fact HIV Positive…It started with what I thought was a series of crushing headaches. I thought I had a brain tumor. I thought it was over. It’s a hard three letters to absorb. It’s a turning point in one’s life…[I had to speak out] to put a stop to this barrage of attacks of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that threaten the health of so many others…I have a responsibility now to better myself and help a lot of other people.
Sheen also says he has been the victim of years of blackmail, giving millions of dollars in extortion money to prostitutes with whom he had relations in hopes that they would keep his HIV status a secret.
My trust turned to their treason.
He admits having unprotected sex with two individuals, whom he says were warned beforehand and “under the care” of his doctor. He also says he’s no longer doing drugs, but still drinks “a little bit.”
Jenner ‘doesn’t understand what being a woman is about’
McGowan pens an open letter on Facebook about Jenner’s acceptance speech for Glamour’s Woman of the Year award:

We are more than the stereotypes foisted upon us by people like you. You’re a woman now? Well f***ing learn that we have had a VERY different experience than your life of male privilege.

Refugees ‘a Trojan horse,’ would close mosques
On CNBC’s Squawk Box, Trump says that he will not allow Syrian refugees to enter the U.S.
We have no idea who these people are, we are the worst when it comes to paperwork. This could be one of the great Trojan horses. We cannot let them into this country, period. Our country has tremendous problems. We can’t have another problem…As far as Merkel’s concerned, she ought to be ashamed of herself, what she’s done. She blew it, when she allowed this to happen, this migration.
He says later on MSNBC that it’s time to start surveillance of mosques, and said the U.S. should shut some down if they have radical leaders.
Well you’re going to have to watch and study the mosques, because a lot of talk is going on at the mosques. Well I would hate to do it [close mosques] but it’s something you’re going to have to strongly consider. Some of the absolute hatred is coming from these areas. … The hatred is incredible. It’s embedded. The hatred is beyond belief. The hatred is greater than anybody understands. I know so many people, Muslims, who are such unbelievably great people, and they’re being so badly tarnished by what’s happening now, it’s a shame.
Claims Sheen will reveal HIV status
According to TMZ, Sheen will sit down with Matt Lauer on Oct 17, to announce that he is HIV positive. NBC says Sheen will make a “revealing personal announcement.”
Says guns would have stopped Paris attack
On CNBC’s Morning Squawk, Trump says France’s gun control laws contributed to the Paris attack
And by the way, France is — France and Paris is one of the strictest in the world with guns. Those people were sitting there with no guns whatsoever — hundreds of people. There wasn’t a gun in the room except for the bad guys. Had there been some guys carrying a .45, had there been some guys with a gun, there would have been a shootout and probably the primary people that got whacked would have been the killers. So, you know you can say what you want about all of these people that preach guns but France, you can’t get any tougher than peace or any tougher that were France. These people walk into a room with hundreds and hundreds of people not a gun in the room except the bad guys. And they just said, ‘Come here – boom, come here — boom.’ They just shot these people at will for a long period of time and killed them and had there been other people carrying weapons, you would have had a lot different story, believe me.
Declares war on ISIS
In response to the Paris attacks, Anonymous says it is at war with ISIS.
We as a collective will bring an end to your reign of terror. We will no longer turn a blind eye to your cruel and inhumane acts of terrorism towards all other religions that are not Islam. We here at BinarySec live for the sole purpose of bringing down All ISIS Propaganda ONE website and/or person at a time. ISIS… Your Jihad is coming to an abrupt end . We here at BinarySec will be one of the driving forces to your end and that’s a promise. ISIS… The War Is On.
Trump Legere Twitter exchange
Trump and Legere have a Twitter exchange after Legere calls out Trump for disparaging remarks he made toward UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. Trump claims he is a T-Mobile customer and has experienced poor service from the company.
https://twitter.com/JohnLegere/status/666049308618280961

The exchanges continue, with Leger posting of graffiti of Trump as a pile of excrement.
Prosecutor: 129 dead, 352 injured
The Paris Prosecutor says that 129 people were killed and 352 injured in the attacks. 99 people are in critical condition. At least one American was killed in the attacks. He also says three teams of attackers coordinated the attacks, and that the Bataclan group mentioned Syria and Iraq during the attacks. One suspect is identified as a 30-year-old French citizen, and one suicide attacker, identified by a Syrian passport found near his body at the national stadium, was not known to French intelligence services. All the suicide attackers wore identical explosive vests.
