Harper’s Bazaar interview
Iman gives an interview to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine about meeting President Obama and the First Lady.
I met Mr. and Mrs. Obama years ago at Oprah’s Legends Ball. Oprah sat me next to Mrs. Obama because I majored in political science before modeling, so she thought we would have something to discuss. And then I went for lunch at the White House. It was brilliant Mrs. Obama could not have been more gracious or beautiful. She is very smart, and for me, the thing I most envy is her children. When is the last time we saw two girls that age at the inauguration, and their mother did not have to say, Sit still?
Playboy cover
Wilkinson appears on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Playboy magazine. She clarifies why she is on the cover when she had turned down Playboy recently.
Hey guys! So I wanted to clear something up really quick! A lot of you saw on my show that I was struggling to decide whether to pose for Playboy again or not. I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn’t from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the mansion. I’m flattered to be on the cover again and as you all know Playboy has a very special place in my heart! I just wanted you guys to know I didn’t recently pose.

Every step of the way, because I’m not an engineer, I’ve always made sure for every fund there’s a very technical person we can turn to…If you’re not technical you can be [the business] person
Harper’s Bazaar interview
Perry gives an interview to Harper’s Bazaar Magazine about her good girl image.
I’m kind of a good girl and I’m not. I’m a good girl because I really believe in love, integrity, and respect. I’m a bad girl because I like to tease. I know that I have sex appeal in my deck of cards. But I like to get people thinking. That’s what the stories in my music do.

She’s the one woman who doesn’t have a specific color.
Allure cover
Moore appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Allure magazine. She talks about staying out in the sun, getting older, and plastic surgery.
I don’t believe it makes people look better. I think it just makes them look like they had something done to their face, and I don’t think we find that instinctually appealing.
Seventeen Mexico cover
Watson appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Seventeen Mexico magazine. She talks about people liking because of her fame, a typical day in her life, and her fashion line.
I was very selfish. I designed what I would love to have. Plain, laid back stuff. I just pictured what I would love to wear.
Health cover
Duff appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Health magazine. She talks about Thanksgiving plans and baking.
Before the wedding I was baking all the time and giving it away and my friends were, like, ‘We know what you are doing—you are making us eat it [so you don’t eat it]. This is mean!’
Glamour cover
Swift appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Glamour magazine. She talks about Taylor Lautner, regretting writing songs about exes. and finding love.
I’ve learned that you can’t predict it or plan for it. For someone like me who is obsessed with organization and planning, I love the idea that love is the one exception to that. Love is the one wild card.
Phylicia Rashad interview
Rashad talks with Smiley about getting away from being type cast in Hollywood.
You have to know who you are. And that’s who I am, a developing actress.
Seventeen cover
Kesha appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Seventeen magazine. She talks about how some people don’t get her.
I accidentally read a review, and it was really positive, but at the end it said, ‘We don’t really know if she has the best voice.’ Which is bulls—! That’s the one thing I’m most confident about. I don’t have the best body in the world, but I know for a fact that I have a really good voice. It really bummed me out that somebody didn’t see that, and then I got upset. But it just made me realize that this is an unveiling process; it’s just going to take time. I’m just proving myself to people.
Teen Vogue cover
Conrad appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Teen Vogue magazine. She talks about leaving the past in the past, her new reality series, and her clothing line, Paper Crown.
It’s the idea of creating your own glamour. The focus will be on really great fits, fabrics, and details. It won’t be overly trendy, nothing that’s trying too hard. I’m very excited about it, but I’m also a little nervous. I’m doing it all on my own this time.
Maxim cover
Lavigne appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Maxim magazine. She talks about what she thinks of rising stars, new tattoos, and what makes a woman sexy.
Attitude and confidence. So, a new single and a new album to follow… I have officially just wrapped the album. I’ve been working on it for about two and a half years. I’ve lived a lot, gone through a lot, and put a lot into my songwriting. These songs are very meaningful to me.
Glamour UK cover
Minogue appears on the cover of the November 2010 issue of Glamour UK magazine. She talks about Sharon Osbourne, motherhood, and X-Factor.

Parade cover
Swift appears on the cover of a October 2010 issue of Parade magazine. She talks about her love life.
Things change so quickly. I have no idea who’s going to be a recurring character and who’s just a guest star for one episode. Love is fascinating. Wishing for it, pining for it, and the anger that comes when you lose it. I used to think that I could figure out some pattern to love, like if you don’t text a guy back for a half hour, he’ll like you more. But there is no pattern. Absolutely nothing is predictable in love or in life.
Billboard cover
Swift appears on the cover of a October 2010 issue of Billboard magazine. She talks about seinding CDs to radio stations, planning a tour, and her song about Kanye West.
It took a while to write that song. That was a huge, intense thing in my life that resonated for a long time. It was brought up to me in grocery stores and everywhere I went, and in a lot of times in my life, when I don’t know how I feel about something, I say nothing. And that’s what I did until I could come to the conclusion that I came to in order to write ‘Innocent.’ Even then, I didn’t talk about it, and I still don’t really talk about it. I just thought it was very important for me to sing about it.
Elle Magazine interview
Franco gives interview to Elle about his book series Palo Alto.
I’d been working on them for a while. I was aware that there’s a lot of material out there that deals with this age group. A lot of it is depicted in a way that the writer makes appealing enough but doesn’t own in a certain way doesn’t own certain kinds of acting-out behaviors. I was given a lot just by being born where I was, but adolescence is a hard period in anyone’s life. It took time to figure out how to group the Palo Alto stories in a way that gives an overall impression that’s focused and intense.
Forbes cover
Graham appears on the front cover of Forbes magazine, and is profiled in an article as The Disruptor in the Valley.
We didn’t mean to invent this new model. It all happened by accident.

Mohr gives interview to Elle about female celebrities and his most awkward interaction with them.
Being on the set of a movie where the leading woman was unhappy with my presence and made it clear from day one. I hadn’t done many movies, and even though they screen-tested some pretty famous guys, I somehow snaked into the leading role. The actress said, No way! You’ve got to be kidding me! Loudly. Between takes. To other actors on set. I would literally go to my mom’s house and cry.
