Kravitz appears on the cover of the October/November 2014 issue of Uptown magazine. He talks about having more children, the death of his mom and dad, and his future.
I feel like whatever I’m supposed to do or get or achieve will happen, and what’s not mine is not mine to have. My grandfather used to tell me when I was a kid, ‘Nobody can take anything away from you that is yours.’ He also used to say, ‘the best is yet to come.
DIY Magazine cover
Charli features on the October issue’s cover and talks about private jets, VMA parties and top 10 singles:
I feel like an ice cube floating around in a sea of chill. It’s not something that interests me. I really do just want to be in the studio or on tour all the time, and everything else is just beginning to freak me out. I guess that’s what being a pop star is, you know?
GQ Mexico cover
Perry appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of GQ Mexico magazine. She talks about how she is 100% natural, how she prayed for bigger boobs when she was 11, and how she isn’t planning on getting married.
GQ cover
Reedus appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of GQ magazine. He talks about being offered a role in Heartbreakers with Jennifer Hewitt, not fitting in, dating models, and rooting for the bad guy.
I mean, even today, if I watch Spider-man or something, I root for the bad guy. I like the Joker better than I like Batman, you know what I mean? I’m still like that.
Square Mile cover
Cooper appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Square Mile magazine. He talks about fatherhood, acting, and working with Jennifer Lawrence.
We’ve had so much fun working together, and I’m so proud of her success. She’s one of the most down to Earth and unpretentious individuals you could ever meet, and it’s such a pleasure to spend time with her.
Los Angeles Confidential cover
Marsden appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Los Angeles Confidential magazine. He talks about acting, his role as Cyclops in X-Men and Beyond, and being cast as the pretty boy.
When I was younger, I was always going to be cast as the preppy, good-looking guy at school. It was a good thing when I was 19. That helped me get work, and within those opportunities, I tried to show that there was more ability…more talent. My main struggle was I never thought myself as the cool guy because I wasn’t that guy in high school…I see myself more as James Bond’s goofy younger brother, as opposed to James Bond.
Cosmopolitan cover
Rossum appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. She talks about people’s confusion with her Shameless character, texting guys, and whether she’d get married again.
I hope I do. Honestly, I was so young, I don’t think I knew what marriage meant. My parents were never married, and I was teased in school and called a bastard. So the idea of marriage as safety forever was idealized in my head, and we rushed into it.
Elle UK cover
Lopez appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Elle UK magazine. She talks about love, whether she’s given up on looking for the one, and future career plans.
I like to tick a lot of boxes. I have a five-year plan. I always have a five and a 10-year plan. If this business is about anything, it’s about reinventing yourself. You have to keep moving, taking risks.
Flare cover
Kaling appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Flare magazine. She talks about wanting kids, the benefits of being single, and sexism in the television industry.
Of course I’m riddled with doubts like every other creative, neurotic person, but if you don’t display them all the time, you’re seen as overconfident. I’ve worked in television for 10 years straight. If I were a man, it wouldn’t be considered strange [to have confidence] at all.
Red cover
Hudson appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Red magazine. She talks about being a good role model, getting married, and the media spotlight.
It goes in waves. I think when you are single they just throw you in the fire. When you’re single, you are dating everybody. And you are like, ‘I never even met this person.’ You realize they want every female to be a whore… These (gossip) magazines really, really want women to look bad. Why would you paint such a bad picture of women that young girls look up to? I will never understand that.
Harper’s Bazaar UK cover
Danes appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK magazine. She talks about being a parent, her parents loving her show Homeland, and her famous cry face.
I’m surprised it’s so surprising. I have my guy, who thinks I’m pretty enough in our life together, so I don’t need to be seducing the audience that way. I think it’s also just my style, what I like in creative work, what I’ve always been attracted to, even as a little girl . . . I always had an appreciation for the macabre.
British GQ cover
Kardashian appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of British GQ magazine. She talks about whether there is a sex tape of her and Kanye West and naming her daughter North West.
Kanye and I were having lunch … and Pharrell came over to us and said, ‘Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter “North”? That is the best name.’ Then a little while later Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us: ‘North is a genius name.’ Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck.
Vanity Fair cover
Downey Jr. appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. He talks about his son’s drug problem and playing Iron Man.
I’ve gone from being convinced that I am the sole integer in the approbation of a phenomenon to realizing that I was the lead in the first of a series of movies that created a chain reaction that, if everything didn’t fire the way it was supposed to, there’s no operator, no anything. And you go, O.K., life is doing something here that included me but did not require me. But, yes, that role means a lot. Marvel is kind of like this sacred brotherhood.
Glamour cover
Pike appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Glamour magazine. She talks about sex scenes, doing magazine covers while pregnant, and doing kids and career at once.
The question is really why do so many women’s careers take off just as they have children? Is it because you are risking everything in your relationship and the risk taker in you carries through into your professional life? You have less time to worry and overanalyze—maybe that’s it. Or the huntress instinct to provide for your family is awoken. [Either way,] with children you spend so much time reexperiencing the world as a child experiences it, and that has a nourishing effect on your imagination—in my job, imagination is key.
Teen Vogue cover
Moretz appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Teen Vogue magazine. She talks about her rumoured boyfriend, keeping her act together, and dating with four older brothers.

Harper’s Bazaar cover
Perry appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. She talks about what she’s learned from past relationships, what she wants in future relationships, and where she meets guys.
Well, I’m not really on the street. It’s usually just through friends of friends. We have a lot of dinner parties. I’m definitely not on Tinder, even though I joke about it.
Elle cover
Lorde appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Elle magazine. She talks about standing up for herself, expressing her opinions, and figuring out how to be a famous teen.
It’s very specific. I have definitely learned how to be flexible. Before, I would just be like, ‘F*ck it.’ I have such a strong idea of what is cool and great for me. If I think something is sh*t, I express that. But now the circle of people I work with all the time is huge and spans continents, and you have to be quite conscientious. So it’s, like, learning not to hurt people’s feelings. Obviously, I am hanging out with more people now who are not teenage; I’m in different circles. But I am a teenager. My brain is, like, a certain age. Everyone is talking about you. You have to learn not to care as much.
Marie Claire UK cover
Collins appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Marie Claire UK magazine. She talks about losing out on a Gossip Girl role, Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence, and not using her last name.
When I first met with agents I was asked, ‘Well, what makes you so special? Everybody in LA is a cousin or a daughter of someone.’ At the beginning, that was the most interesting thing about me. Now I’ve done eight films, it’s an afterthought. I get kids who say, ‘Oh, I love your movie, but my mum loves your dad.’ It’s really nice to be able to share that with him, but it doesn’t define who I am career-wise.
Women’s Health cover
Hudson appears on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Women’s Health magazine. She talks about three actors she would like to work with, her long distance relationship, and what she does on date nights.
We do our date nights. And we are lucky to be able to have the ability to take time with each other and make sure we have that time with each other. So date nights for us are all over. From a movie, to dinner, to just not leaving our bed, to concerts. We like our dates.
